What Customers Are Saying
The product is a well-constructed center punch that performs effectively for a variety of tasks, such as starting holes, setting nails, and working with tough materials. Many users praised its quality, hardened tip, and ability to withstand heavy use without dulling or bending. However, a minority of reviewers reported issues with the punch bending or breaking, especially for larger nails or more demanding applications. The tool may not be suitable for the most delicate or heavy-duty jobs, but it appears to be a reliable and durable option for general workshop use.

Would RecommendI have been needing a pin punch for quite some time and finally bought one. This Irwin punch does the job for me.
One punch and done.
Still unable to review the actual product because the packaging is the worst I've ever encountered. Knives, scissors will not cut through it and there is no gap whatsoever to pry it off. Very little room to get a saw or power tool in between without damaging the tool. Factor a couple hours of labor into the low price before you buy. So ridiculous. These should just be in a bin without the aggravating hardened plastic shell around it.
Easily bent. Do not buy!
Would Not RecommendWas trying to remove a small pin and after a few smacks with a rubber mallet noticed the shaft was curving off. Terrible product and not worth buying even if it’s free.
The Irwin Center Punch
Would RecommendThe 2 that I purchased are the same item and seem to be comparable to ones I have used in the past and so far have worked out very well Thank You
Poorly made, not suitable for its purpose.
Would Not RecommendImmediately after removing the punch from its plastic sleeve container, i noticed that the pin was bent, with a run-out of 1/32". Not at all acceptable, as no punch thys bent can sustain normal driving force. The pin, labeled as 1/16" would not enter a precisely machined hole of 1/16" inch! The finishing of the tool is very rough. Thus tool appears to have simply come from a bin after casting and the application of a plastic sleeve, having no applied machining for dimensional tolerance. It's en...
It would be nice if they sold a somewhat smaller one by itself also. This one is too large for certain task.

High quality tool
Would RecommendWhen I use hand tools, I purchase quality for my self. These are for my grand daughter, so you know I trust them for her.

Would RecommendI needed a tool to open a staked nut and to restake a new nut after installation.
