I really wanted to love this and thought that it would do exactly what I needed, but honestly, it fell short and wasn’t able to act as a starter punch the way that I was intending to use it. This could be my fault, but it didn’t do anything on the stainless steel. I was using it on.
The Erwin 8” center is straight and made of some very hard steel. It has a good balance with good visibility while you are striking it with the 3 pound sledgehammer. It fit the project I was working on.
