Would RecommendYou can feel quality of the product out of the box. I had watched the reviews and videos but none do justice to how easy this plows thru 30+ inches of Northern Alberta ice without pulling or any spinning pressure at all. My gas auger needed to be pushed down to drill thru and then would ‘catch’ that last little bit of ice before getting to the water. I’ve only drilled a dozen holes so can’t really attest to the battery life.

Would RecommendIt’s nice and quiet, ice shack doesn’t smell like CO. Drillls lots holes in 30” ice before battery dies. My son who was a non believer, now owns an Ion after using mine.
