Creosote cleaning logs
Would RecommendI bought two of these creosote sweeping logs and used them at the beginning of winter, after I opened my flue. It was an easy way to clean the inside of my chimney. Any residue was burned up with my first fire. I have purchased two more to use to clean out the chimney, before I close the flue for the summer. I'll sweep out the ash and have a nice clean fireplace.

Would RecommendI've used this for several years now. I guess that it works. I don't get any spoke build up when lighting fires and it makes sense. I just don't have any proof that it works other than I haven't had any chimney fires. So I'll continue to use this as needed. I usually buy one at the beginning of ever winter.
