The log refused to stay lit! It started out OK but within minutes it was out. It was constantly going out and had to be lit again. It was never outside or subjected to weather - picked it up at Lowe’s and brought it home to the fireplace. Once the process was started, it took eight hours to light and relight the log to get it to burn almost completely. Not really sure it did anything.

Would Not RecommendTried lighting the ends as shown, and both quickly burned out without starting the log. Tried to relight with no success. Finally had to add wood and fire starters just to get it lit.
