Easy to use, hard to lose!

Ideal took the basic stamped metal romex stripper and improved the heck out of it. It fits your hand better, it has a nice grip on it, the cable is easy to insert through the center. Then add that it's high visibility yellow and you have a definite winner. And when you step on it by accident, it doesn't bend out of shape like the metal ones, rendering them useless. Handy little tool

It's a pretty simple little tool, but handy for stripping wires.

Great For ROMEX Jacket Removal

My only regret is I did not buy this sooner. Not only makes slitting and removing ROMEX jacket easy, makes tightening splice caps a dream - no more sore fingers.

Handy little stripper.

This tool does what it is supposed to. It takes the place of a knife and traditional wire strippers.

work as advertised, great for stripping

I bought these to strip the outside layer off of romex. They it works great, even cuts it well. I used the stripper to a bit and it stripped both 12and 14 wire.

The L'il stripper that could!

Absolutely must-have tool for working with Romex cable wiring jobs. Strips back ou8ter plastic sheath like no other tool! Cuits off unwanted insulation, strips wire ends and locks on to wire nuts for increased turning power.

Ideal Stripper

Wired my shed, only had 10 outlets and 2 switches plus 2 overhead lights. Was well worth the investment even if I never use it again. Strips Romex perfectly with no nicks. Not too crazy about the individual wire stripper but does work.

Good specialty tool

This little tool works well to strip back Romex cable. It does take a little getting used to, but once you do it is much safer than using a blade. And you don't have to worry about nicking the conductors down to the copper. Some of the other features are probably not going to be used a lot. Most will use pliers and/or strippers. Overall, another good tool that is inexpensive to add to your tool bag.

Poor instructions on usage

I would recommend someone to put the $6 towards the purchase of quality wire strippers, like Klein or Southwire.

Stripper

Works pretty well. Keeps me from cutting into the conductors. First customer said when he saw me using it "that's no fair! you're supposed to use a razor blade and cut yourself up like the rest of us do!"
