What Customers Are Saying
The wire stripper tool received mixed reviews. Many found it useful and convenient for quickly and cleanly stripping various wire types without damage. However, some customers reported issues with the tool jamming or not working well on certain wire gauges, particularly thinner 14-gauge. While generally effective, the tool's performance can be inconsistent, and it may not suit all users' needs equally.

Would RecommendAs a DIYer, I always had problems stripping wire. This Lil’ Ripper does a great job of quickly removing the covering off various sizes of wire. Fits in your pocket and always ready to go.

It worked.
Would RecommendIt worked. I've been an Electrician for 40 years. I know I haven't tried all tools but this is the best that I've used when stripping romex.

You mayas we'll get you a seam splitter.
Would Not RecommendNot the best tool in the world. Used it to cut wiring insulation to extract the conductors and didn't work as smoothly as o thought it would.. If you have metal shielding between i insulation and conductors, don't even bother..

Stripper works!
Would RecommendRips standard Romex and UF quickly and easily. But the cutters to remove the stripped casing don't cut as well, I still need to carry a set of clippers to cut the Romex itself.

Great tool that pairs great with the USA Romex BOX
Would RecommendI bought this little tool today along with the USA Romex BOX Jaw Wire Strippers. ($28.00) The Little stripper cost $5.00 and worth it. I use it to strip the single wires and bend the wires to a loop. When I strip the wires I want to strip about an inch. The yellow end of the stripper to where the black handle part starts is right at one inch. I use that for measuring the length of the wire to strip the one inch. I like that. These tools together are a great combination.... I recommend this littl...
Not Easy to Use
Would Not RecommendI purchased this for standard household Romex wire. I am very adept at using tools but I couldn't get this work right at all. Ended up using needle nose pliers, diagonal cutters, & a razor knife.

some good...some not as good
Would RecommendThis works well with the initial cut and is “okay” as a cut off tool, but do NOT use it to strip wire. Stixk with a cinventional stripper.

Very dissatisfied
Would Not RecommendIt can't strip romex and the individual wire stripper takes a lot of effort to make it work.

Lil Ripper
Would Not RecommendThis looked like a handy tool for and electrician. Unfortunately, its not. The ripper doesn’t rip, the and the insulation cutter doesn’t cut. Wasted money.

Lil' Ripper worth price
Would RecommendSeemed a little expensive and instructions misleading - but once I applied common sense the device worked better than expected. Most likely will get another as a backup or for others helping out.
