What Customers Are Saying
The wire stripper tool received mixed reviews. Many found it useful and convenient for quickly and cleanly stripping various wire types without damage. However, some customers reported issues with the tool jamming or not working well on certain wire gauges, particularly thinner 14-gauge. While generally effective, the tool's performance can be inconsistent, and it may not suit all users' needs equally.

Would RecommendThis slits the cable jacket more easily and more precisely than the typical metal rippers. It also works very well on 3-conductor wire, which the rippers don't do as well. It includes a stripper blade and jacket cutter.

Great tool cut the job time in half!!!!
This tool is worth more than I paid for it!!!! it does have a few flaws when stripping wire the insulation sometimes gets caught in the tool and I had to remove it with what ever was handy to push it out before it would strip right again, but other than that it saved me a lot of time wiring 6 lights in my basement!

Works, but not for old Romex
Works great. It saved me a lot of time when putting in new circuits or rewiring stuff. Much faster and easier than either pulling the ground wire through the casing with pliers or trying to slice the casing with a box cutter. I've had many cut fingers and nicked insulation through that method. Anyone who has tried to cut UF knows how difficult that is. The only problem is it won't work on older NM, the kind that has a slightly looser casing and isn't as "tight" as new NM. It'll just get jammed ...
