Husqvarna 450 Rancher chainsaw
Would RecommendExcellent chainsaw! I bought one in 2015 and just bought a new one, same make and model. Hope it lasts 10 years like the last one. It cost about 100 bucks more than it did in 2015, so I guess that isn't too bad. Glad Lowes gives veterans a 10% discount, that really helps!

Does what it's suppose to except for a small issue
Chainsaw works nice, jus had a few bog downs at initial use. Went to clean it next day and the cover for the sprocket wouldn't come off. Finally came off but now it wont fit back on. Im assuming its the brake band not releasing where it normally fits over the clutch. Not sure where to take it. Im sure a local shop be able to help.

Poor quality
Would Not RecommendRan this saw for 5 yrs now. A lot of problems including poor/no idle. Poor acceleration. Recoil wheel is plastic and breaks every year. I am on my third one. Spend your money on a Husqy pro saw instead from another dealer.

Be wary of this brand. Customer support bad
Would Not RecommendHad to go through 2 bars and 2 chains and when I asked for help through Husqvarna, all I got was common answers and not an answer to my specific problems. Also, Lowes should ensure that bars and chains are matched up by chain size stated on bars. I bought 2 20" chains that were of the wrong pitch and width. I had to find a local mechanic (small engine) to show me how to check and also gave me a correct new chain for that bar.
