Would Not Recommendreceived this saw as a Gift ran great on the first tank of fuel. starting on the second tank the chain fell off and no longer fit in the groove in the bar. Lowes refunded our money, and I had to break out the 38 year old Stihl to finish the job.
Got a Lemon but Lowes Made it Right!
Would RecommendPurchased online and picked up at Lowes in Sumter, SC. Got it home, unpacked, filled fuel and oil reservoirs, checked it out and put away in the garage. The next morning, all the fuel had leaked out all over my garage floor; the fuel tank - not a dedicated tank but simply a void in the plastic case fused together with heat - was leaking along the seam for the handle. Lowe’s failed on this one!,
Would Not RecommendAfter adding fuel and chain oil, the saw started up once, chain then fell off. On second start-up, the starting rope came off in my hand. After taking it back to the store in Leominster MA the next day they would do nothing, they as much as called me a liar and would not let me discuss this with the Manager. Only said that I must go through the manufacturers service! Not a chance I would ever buy a power tool again from Lowe’s.
