It is a little larger than I would like it to be

It was fairly easy to install. It works well.

Silver and Gold screws

Couldn't turn the gold and silver screws in either directions. Impossible to connect the wires to the plug.

Could not loosen the inside screws.

Could not loosen screws. Too tight!

Emergency Replacement

Whilst on vacation from the UK I needed to charge my electric toothbrush but didn't have a 'shaver' socket in my accommodation and I had forgotten my travel plug! A quick trip to the local Lowe's to pick this up and a short stint on the sun-lounger cutting and stripping wire with kitchen utensils got me back in business. Easy to use if you're not worried about polarity and fitted perfectly onto my cable (flat, twin core) Come at me with why US plugs are better than the UK. I'll wait! ;-)

Excellent plug for non-professional

Needed to replace the plug on my spouse's electric iron. I am not an electrician. This plug appeared to fit the bill (2-wire, 15A, 125V) so I bought it. Instructions were very clear, the plug design is very simple, and short story even shorter: the iron has a new plug.

When my wife's hairdryer bit the dust on Vacation,I thought I might have to buy a new on. Instead I went to a local Lowes and purchased a $2.00 replacement plug. Better then new now. And for those saying that it's not a Ground Fault plug, I know, but all the sockets I used were.

Not polarized.

I didn't realize until after I opened it that it was not polarized (one wide blade, one thin blade) and in fact didn't see any others. Most of the time I DON'T want polarized but this time I did!
