Would RecommendThis is our second Honda eu3000i , first one still in use over 5 years now in upstate NY . We needed one in Arizona bought one here . Very quiet, I have a dog house I use like the one in NY I use a powerful exhaust fan which pulls out the exhaust and pulls in fresh clean air over the machine to help cool it .

RV Generator
Would RecommendBought this unit in 2006 for my 37 foot 5th wheel. Majority of our camping is in the middle of nowhere with no power so we use it probably more than most. In 17 years all ive ever done to it is regular oil changes and 1 valve set. To this day it burns no oil and runs like the day i bought it.

Would RecommendWe've had our 3000ic running for 73 hrs straight now. Powering everything in our home that is 110v. 3 sump pumps, window AC, multiple lights, power to gas tankless water heater, fans, TV, fridge, alarm clocks etc. I've got it plugged into a receptacle that backfeeds a 220v 20amp breaker and our main breaker off for when our power is restored. Great unit.

Would RecommendI have had a home generator for years for power outages. It works great but is very loud. Neighbors complain and I'm not surprised. I have been looking for a another unit that is not so loud. This unit is extremely quite. Can't even hear it at the next house. Very impressed with performance. If looking for a home generator, this one is an inverter, you should take a look at this product.

If able check the nuts and bolts
6 of the 10 locking nuts were the wrong size, they were too small. I had to go to a hardware store to get the right size and you not only have to make sure they are the correct size to fit the bolts but they also have to be the right size to fit in the holes on the part that holds the handle together.

13 Year Hard Life Still Going
Would RecommendI have had this gen for 13 years. It spent the first 8 years of it's life as an auxiliary power unit on my semi-truck running a roof top AC (13,000 BTU) as well as tools. It's lived it's entire life outdoors and I have not been kind to it one bit. Next we used it to run our RV as we built our house out in the desert until we got power. It sat out in the desert for a whole year and was full of water, I cleaned it out, put a new carb on it and it still runs great. It was then used for 2 more years...

Would RecommendAs the title states, I had to use it twice when power was lost during storms to power the house. It's incredibly quiet and fuel efficient. 1st time I had to use it it ran for about 5 hours and the 2nd was about 28 hours continuous. Great backup generator
I had the older model eu3000is for 8-years it started every-time except once I had to change the spark plug. I was only on the second battery. It was very quiet but we just didn,t use enough to justify keeping it. So I sold it for a nice price and bought a brand new invertor 3800 watts 3400 running watts and technoligy has realy advanced smaller 30% lighter,built in wheel kit and also very quiet. Wen

Great for our 5th Wheel RV!
Would RecommendJust the right size for our 39 foot 5th wheel RV. I like everything about my EU3000 Generator . . ... except that I have to get up in the morning, get dressed, go outside to start the generator so I can make a cup of coffee for my wife ( a 30 year habit ) Please consider making this unit with the remote bluetooth start/stop!! GREAT little QUIET Gen set
Would RecommendThis is a replacement for a 2008 Model EU3000 is which is STILL functioning properly with over 32,000 hours on it. The existing will become additional parallel cable aux power when seldom needed. These units are used at our cottage which has no commercial power. Power from a 3000 is enough 98% of the time. Ultra Quiet / Efficient Power Source
Would RecommendAfter using my EU2000 and then a EU2200 for the past 10 years, I upgraded to a EU3000iS to be prepared for power outages as our Govt. closes our pipelines, power plants, coal plants. With 3 efficient Honda generators, my needs are more than covered. All my Honda's start with one pull but my wife LOVES the Electric Start on the EU3000iS.
