It doesn't work as intended

I shook the can vigorously, for over a minute, as instructed, but the material barely sprayed out of the can. It sprayed out for just a few inches at first, and then it just came out onto the top of the can like shaving cream.

I am very artistic and can use almost any medium, and have. AND I can follow instructions. This stuff is crap. Plain and simple. Will not work the way it is advertised under any circumstances.You WILL have a big gloppy mess. Watch the you tube videos put out by people who tried it and not the company! Do not buy it or you will be wasting $30!!!

Made a mess with terrible results.Sprayed in a wide pattern and dripped from ceiling.Ceiling was painted with sealer before application.

Worst product ever

I’ve never done a review until now. This product is completely worthless and ruined the ceiling patch I’d just completed. Will never purchase a homax product again. Don’t want my money back, just for other people to know to avoid this product.

Works but takes practice

This stuff works ok if you temper your expectations. It will get the job done but likely you won't achieve a perfect texture match. I would say 80-90% is about all you can get. The biggest problem is that you need to practice a bit, but if you do, you will run out quickly. There is enough in this can to cover about 2X2 feet. You do need to shake it well. No more than 20 inches if you want a denser pattern of popcorn texture. At 28 dollars, this is very expensive. You likely won't get it right ...

completely worthless.

I cannot understand why Lowe's would continue to stock such a worthless product.

Not easy

My attempt looked like crap. My friend who is a professional result was perfect.

Unusable - ceiling is 100 times worse than before

Husband had an absolute meltdown after applying this product. He followed instructions exactly and the ceiling is hideous and I need to hire a professional to scrape off this product and apply a fresh coat. Not only is the result an utter failure, the toxic chemicals sprayed all over my kitchen and stuck to every surface. I will be returning this to Lowes for this embarrassment of a product.

Expensive for 1 can and not very good spread!

This stuff was EXPENSIVE and didn't even begin to cover the 8 sq ft it said. I followed the directions exactly and barely was able to finish the 14" x 10" repair. Plus, even though I warmed it, it was coming out too thick. I thought I was going to have to buy another to finish but decided I had the repair done as best as I could get it.

Pull from the shelves!

It didn’t work at all. It was a total waste of money. It didn’t have much in the can. I was so upset. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Wasted money

Tried this, followed directions to the letter. First tried to hold can 20 inches from ceiling, as directed, it would barely spray 3 inches, had to keep wiping it off nozzle. By the end had more spray on hand than on ceiling. In the end I would use words that would not be allowed in this review. I see reading through these reviews trying soaking in water for 20 minutes. Not part of instructions on can. Will NOT use this again absolute waste of $29
