Don't waste your money

I purchased 4 cans of this stuff and I was not impressed. One can didn't even spray, the other three sprayed, but not very well. Yes I put them in hot water for about an hour before I used them and while it did help, not enough to make them worth $20/can. I will not be purchasing these again.

Clogged nozzle won’t even spray 20$ wasted

For 20$ a can this stuff should be amazing but it was so clogged up it wouldn’t even start to spray. Tried clearing it out with a needle but still nothing. Wish I would’ve read the reviews

Absolute waste of money

Bought two cans. Followed the directions. Shook can for over a minute until heard the metal ball. First can had no pressure and could not use. The second can sprayed about fifteen seconds and was sporadic in application.

Definitely NOT worth the money.

Homax needs to stop making this junk. I work in the hotel industry and tried to repair the ceilings with both of their upshot products. This by far was the worse. Never will I use this again. I read and followed the instructions. Tells you to hold ~23 inches from area. Heck I had to be practically on it to actually hit the ceiling. Folks it's just better to roll the popcorn on. Also it's just as messy as rolling it on so there is no win to this stuff.

This is complete crap, do not reccomend, will not do the job right. Dont waste your time and money

Not so good

Recommend using the Homax premix that can be installed using a textured roller. Got much better results. The Aerosol was horrible and a waste of money and time. Shook can as directed, but can just spit various sized popcorn globs on the ceiling. See photo. I lost my money on this one .... Just about covered a 3x3ft area. Not much in can. It was so bad, has to scrape it off and do over with Homax popcorn premix in plastic container at about $30. Quarts not available at Lowes at the time. Used 2 g...

Bad can

When i went to use the can had lost all of the pressure and nothing came out. Not very good QC for a product that cost almost 20 dollars.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product to spray on ceiling to add texture. You get the same look as the popcorn texture of new houses. I was very happy with it and plan on buying more. It's very easy to use.

Don't waste your money

If you were stupid enough to buy this product then here's what you do. Shake the can as directed, then throw it in the trash. Make sure you disable the trigger so no other person wastes their time trying to use it Makes a great stocking stuffer for your inlaws

Pretty good

Easy answer to repair pop-corn ceiling. Still have to prepare area before applying, is not magic. The final result is excellent, perfect match. Just don't go crazy with hit because if you put too much is ruined and to fix it you will have to take it all down and do it again from the start.

pure junk

Purchased two cans. Read the instructions. Each one worked for a couple of seconds but shot out an irregular stream. Both then clogged and ceased working. Could not clear the nozzle. Do not purchase this product, it is junk. Now trying to find the receipt so I can return this garbage.

No Spray

Worked OK the first time I used it on the first area I needed to patch. Not great, just OK. Then the sprayer quit. Followed all the instructions but it is almost like all the propellant leaked out. The container is almost full but useless.

Popcorn ceiling replacement

works good, just messy. key to remember when using, do not spray area covering multiple times. the popcorn will build up and look cakey. If you spray too heavy, use a damp cloth to blot area then repeat, hope this helps

Exactly as described

We had popcorn ceiling repairs to do because of water damage in a rental property. I read the reviews and was skeptical but decided that those who said that if you follow the directions it is a good product. They were exactly correct. I had it at the right temperature. I shook and shook and shook. Then I shook some more. It was perfect. Follow the directions. I bought two but was able to return one because it worked perfectly the first time.
