Read the label and watch the video, very pleased with the out come, also helps to put can in hot water prior to use, Shake can till ball rattles very well, Press spray nozzle easy not fully open. , Done a great job on my ceiling.

Mixed Feelings

This product is just an "okay" product. What I learned is this product is simply very thin drywall mud in a spray can. I said I would recommend it to a friend but it would only be under a conditional recommendation. If you are only going to fix a very small spot then it works okay for that. I recommend you get a scrap piece of board or dry wall and practice spraying this product first. It does seem to be a durable product once it is dry. Does exactly what it is supposed to do

I purchased this product, even after reading the negative reviews. I felt that if I were to follow the instructions to the letter and then some, the chances of success would be greatly enhanced and would make the investment in time and money worrth while. The added preparation consisted of shaking the can for a total of 15 minutes in 3 minute intervals over a 24 hour period. Not as described

The product comes out of the can like a shower of foam and settles like a blob of shaving cream. It has no resemblance to what is known as "popcorn" on the ceiling.

Test first

Easy to apply. Be sure to mask off areas around the repair and use drop cloths on flooring. Practice on some cardboard first! It's easy to build up more than you want so do a little at a time. Overall, good results.

As Advertized!

Needed to repair approx. 1 ft x 2 ft area in ceiling. Followed the video instructions and got Great results. Would take a practiced eye to see the repair. I'm impressed.... surfface preparation and plenty of plastic sheeting is paramount!

Good but messy

Spray matches well with surrounding popcorn, but make sure and cover everything in a 6 foot radius including yourself or you'll get a rained on. Also the coverage is pretty small for the price.

Too watery

Mixture was too watery and looked more like over saturated instant oatmeal than popcorn when applied. Far to runny. I'd suggest this product be taken off the market.

Matches close enough

I had 20 holes from where 4 - 4 ft flo lights were removed. I scraped about 6 inches around each hole to patch them. The can says 8 sq ft of coverage. I used the whole can. It is a little on the bigger side of the popcorn size. I sprayed each area twice. Make sure you cover EVERYTHING. even though it's aimed at the ceiling the little splatters will fly everywhere. Product works well.

I had removed a ceiling light fixture and had to repair the hole left over. Ceiling repair came out very good. Make sure to follow the directions and put up plastic drop sheets to protect areas from the excess splatter. Anyone who comes over to my house will not see where a repair was done unless they look very closely It is almost impossible for any product to produce an exact duplicate for the existing texture.

This product does not match my ceilings as advertised. Was very disappointed.

Popcorn ceiling texture in a spray can

This product was very disappointing. Cost about 8 bucks don't waste your money, First you have to shake the product for more than the recommended minute before use. I bought it to spot paint the ceiling but when applied it came out very lumpy, paint went everywhere and didn't even have enough paint for 4 little spots. It ran out after 3rd spray. Great Product

I thought I would have to hire someone to spray my ceiling for a repair. I found this product and it made my job so easy and cheap. It looks just like the original popcorn and was so much cheaper than hiring a professional. I would recommend this to anyone needing to repair their ceiling.

Terrible, terrible product.

Product does NOT work as advertised. Just shoots out massive globs. Ruined all our work. Had to start over. WORST PRODUCT I'VE EVER USED! Not at all as advertised. Homax Products should be reimbursing cost and damages. BEWARE!!!

Would not spray out onto ceiling. It would run out and not spray up on ceiling.

KEEP YOUR MONEY

It was difficult to grasp the can and depress the applicator. 15-20 lbs pressure to pull it down. The directions said you can feather it in; hum, it comes out in a stream and literally goes everywhere. There needs to be a better way to do this. A real waste of $15.

Do not use

I follow instructions sprayed out all over my clothing and hair . Got on my carpet and blinds . Huge mess didn't work at all. They should pay to clean my carpet.
