Do Not buy this fan!

We bought 2 - 1 for ourselves, 1 for our son. His was broken in less than 6 months - we figured it was abused by a 12 year old and couldn't take it. Our fans tilt mechanism broke after about a year and could no longer be adjusted. Then it would only start moving if you set it on high and waited a bit. We took the grill off and used canned air to blow out the dust. It helped for a few days, then went back to the slow start again. Last evening we turned it on before bed, only to wake up a fe...

So disappointed

We bought this fan (again) to replace the first one my daughter had for a couple of years because it is the loudest I can find and is great for white noise on the highest setting. She can't sleep without it. It worked for a couple of weeks and now will only stay at the lowest (quietest) setting, regardless of which setting it is on. i am currently searching for another one that is just as loud but am disappointed in every other one we try.

Nice Cool Noise Maker

We started using these Holmes Blizzard Fans about 10 years ago. I worked nights and needed something to keep the room cool and drown out the noise. We still use these fans religiously today for reducing noise and keeping the room cool. They typically last 3-4 years without any issues. When the motor doesn't start the fan blades immediately and it takes a few minutes for the fan to start it's time to get a new one. We love them and won't buy any other brand and we also travel with one too.......

One of the best on the market

I got this for work, my department is very hot during the summer, and now everyone flocks to my area to cool down...I love it..gotta buy me another.

I bought this fan when another brand I'll gladly mention (COMFORT ZONE) sucked. When I turned on the Holmes Blizzard....I was and still is a happy camper. I'm going out to buy another one.

Great Fan!

Powerful Fan!

This is the best fan I've ever had. It's very powerful for a table fan, and I would highly recommend it. It's a great fan to sleep with, as it keeps me cool and blocks out the outside noises. I live in an apartment, and it can get noisy at times. I use it often when I'm getting ready for work, as well as when I'm in the kitchen cooking. I love this fan!!

Don't Buy!!

After a few short months, the cheap plastic switch house broke and my fan is useless.

2nd one. I liked the first one-kbought another

Bought another fan prior to this and returned since the airflow was minimal. This fan moves the air when I set it in front of my stationary bike to help keep me cool.

Stopped working after a month of use!

I expected at least a summer from this product and found about 4 weeks of use before it just stopped working. It only sat on my kitchen table from the day I purchased it. Never moved around. I am not happy and will never purchase a Holmes brand again!

Disappointed

Purchased two fans. Both were more noisy than I expected. One had an annoying click when changing oscillating direction. I don't see a way to disassemble to clean the fan blades and shield. I plan to see how far I can take the clicking one apart and see if I can fix it.

We ordered during the holiday season and when we recieved the fan it was damaged during shipping. One less than 5 minute call and a new one was on it's was on its way at no charge or hassle. Little things come in big packages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of these fans a little over a month ago and they blow like an air conditioner even on low speed although it have three speeds . I would recommend purchasing this fan to anyone it's really worth the small price.

Hasn't worked right since I received it

I bought this fan in September of 2015 and from the first time I turned it on it hasn't worked right. The first speed doesn't work at all and the second speed makes so much noise you can't stay in the same room it's in. I bought a Holmes Blizzard fan 5 years ago here in the Dallas are and it worked great so I bought one from your company. Big mistake!

Looks Good

I live in MASSACHUSETTS and this time of year I have not used my new fan yet. I will be glad to write a review next summer.
