I had bought this fan 10 years ago when I went off to college and it was amazing. It actually made the air in my entire room COLD, even on 90-100 degree days. I don't know how it did it, but it did it. Once out of college, it was perfect because I didn't have to spend the money on air conditioning for my apartment. Even on the low setting, it's loud.

This is a great fan, it's just loud. I love that it oscillates.

Just the right size for the top of our cabinet. I like having cool air while I work but I don’t like papers flying everywhere!

Our 6 month old was not sleeping for long duration's through the night and the white noise machine was not doing the trick anymore. Purchased this fan and immediately on the first night baby slept only waking once to feed and now day naps have gone from 30 mins to over an hour! Would Be 5-Star With Better QC

I purchased two of these fans, both for wall mount use. One failed after two months use. One lasted for a year and a half of continuous use. I don't expect a fan to last more than a year when almost always on six months at a time. But it should last more than two months.

Loud

This is one loud fan... Sounds like it's going to take off or explode... Horrible to try and sleep too... I've had 5 of these over the years.... My 1st one ran for 3 years straight before it died... And it was quiet... The last 3 have been horrible and after 6 months in the trash! The one I have now is the worst one yet... Grinding noise drives me crazy!

This was my second fan... the previous fan just wore out...Too Noisy wouldn't rotate..

I have one in the bathroom and bought another for the kitchen / living room. Got a great deal on sale and this fan delivers great airflow even on low speed!!

This is the second one I have owned and it is the best fan that you could purchase. Very quiet and air flow is unbeatable. You get the best for an affordable price. I had to search on line to fine this replacement that I had had for many years. You won’t be unsatisfied.

Love this fan!

This is my fourth fan because I always repurchase this fan when my old one dies. I use this fan in my bedroom and it is on 24/7. Each fan usually lasts a couple of years. I will take it apart to clean it every 6 months. I also love that the company has the lowest price!

Performs Excellent, Highly Recommended

I have used Holmes products for decades and they have never disappointed. It is warm here in Southern California, so I leave the fan on 24/7/365. I have tinnitus so I need the background noise to be able to sleep, this fan is the perfect sound level. I purchased this to replace the smaller Blizzard model and this is a big improvement in cooling. I highly recommend this product and all Holmes products. Bought this fan looking for something that moved a lot of air and also made some noise for sleeping st night. This fan is the perfect balance of both!

Runs all the time!

I use this fan on my cruiser to keep the air circulating and keep the humidity down. It replaces one just like it. It runs 24/7/365. The old one lasted many years. Great fan.

Good for white noise in winter / cooling in summer

I bought this in the winter to make white noise for my daughter to sleep. Its perfect and uses less electricity than other fans. In the summer I will use it for cooling. It is very powerful for a small fan. I had this fan previously and it lasted 10 years despite being knocked around by a toddler. It is perfect for winter and summer!
