Not For Use on Live Christmas Trees!

I have a live Fraser Fir Christmas tree that I decorated with these bulbs. They looked gorgeous. But within 5 minutes of them being turned on they were hot to the touch. Not just warm but hot. I had to take them off. I was scared they would set my tree on fire. If they were that hot after mere minutes, I can't imagine after hours. I have other C9 bulbs that are NOT LED and they do NOT get hot like these. Very very dangerous.

Great Colored Light set

These lights are NOT the cheaper plastic lights you see at Walmart, etc. These are harder to find but Lowes has them. Look great on our outdoor Magic Xmas Tree!

Holiday Classic Multicolored Lights

The lights are beautiful! I still love the classic look during the holidays.

ooooohhh... so pretty!

I snagged a handful of these bad boys to throw up for next year’s display! Vibrant color and easy to string up!! Next year, the city will gave to turn on the nuclear backup power with all the lights ill have!!

Bad lights

I was disappointed as they fell apart as I took them out of the box.This happened to both sets.

Beautiful colors and classic look

Do not string more than 2 of these sets together because the fuse will blow. But, their color is beautiful, size is classic, and they dress up the house like a traditional Christmas. Also, turn them off before bed because they do burn more and will increase your electric bill. Loving them two years in a row.

Outdoor Christmas lights

What I wanted was indoor small colored lights like were the only kind you could buy in the sixties. I had been to 5 other stores before trying Lowe's. Even Wallmart didn't carry colored lights. Only twinkle type or LED. Of course my small lights did not fit, so I had to return yours. My wife asked me if I had tried Theisons. Old school Christmas light bulbs

I love these bulbs, they are easier on y old eyes than the newer small ones

LIGHTS ARE BRIGHT!! WE LOVE THEM!

We have been trying to find lights similar to the good ol' days on my Grandma's house! We have purchased many different LED sets and we never really got the brightness that we were looking for!! These are totally old school bright! They, obviously, are not the power saver as the LED lights are, but they really bring back a sweet memory of Christmas growing up!

Max connect strands 2, horrible.

Most outdoor lights you can connect 15-20 together. This is pathetic!

Poor Quality

I bought 6 strands of lights (150 total bulbs). Within three nights of being hung and lit, I have already had to replace 19 bulbs, 10 of which on the first day. Two more went out tonight. That will make 21 bulbs burnt out, 14%, in 5 nights of use. The bulbs are beyond cheap. I’ll be back on the roof for the fourth time tomorrow.

I've had these lights for almost 15 years and have not had a problem with them. I like them much better than the LED lights. They remind me of the lights we had when I was a kid and that was 70 some years ago. This is one thing that is better OLD than the NEW. Lowe's PLEASE keep these lights in your inventory for as long as you can

Bummed

I just got these C9 old school light's, was so excited so I plugged them into my living room outlet and they got really hot.I had them on for about 5 mins and the fuse burnt and they don't come with more fuses like most lights. So back they go I don't trust the heat the C9 bulb puts out these got hot enough if you had small children it could significantly be hot for them. Bummer they looked just like I remember them as a child. I give it 2 stars for the ambulance they were pretty.

Went to put up last night one of the light bottoms snapped right off of string.

Not bad!

I normally put up white LEDs but wanted to go the classic route this year. I am happy to say 4 strands went up and only one bulb didn't light out of the pack. No breaks and they're super bright!

Immensely Frustrating Christmas Lights

I bought four sets about 3 years ago when they went on sale after Christmas - and that is the only way I would ever buy these again...when they're dirt cheap and there isn't any other choice. Never, ever, EVER pay full price for these. The bulbs shatter so incredibly easily and the insulation on the wiring tears without much effort. I understand these aren't indestructible lights and with any set of string lights you have to use care. But my God. They would tap against each other and shatter. If...

DO NOT BUY...worst lights ever!

Bought 11 boxes of these lights. Had multiple bulbs blow when simply removing them from the plastic holder they come attached to! Also, for the lights that survived unpacking, multiple bulbs blew when simply attaching to plastic light clips. Horrible product. I can't believe Lowes sells this product - cheap, defective, poorly constructed. They look good, with that old fashion light look, but out of 11 strands, only 6 of the 11 are functional. Buyer beware.
