old cf quit we wanted newer modern look without sacrificing air flow and maybe increase lighting and rolled the dice with this baby. pretty decent hookup if you are experienced electrician or all around handy them they he she you can have this up and running in 30 min. If your a weekend diy maybe an hour. Air movement surpasses the old 5 blade 52" with 4 bulbs and the LED light output blows it away plus you get a dimmer. Some had problems learning the remote just remember , don't hold the remote...

Like it almost 100% except if there is a reverse gear I haven't found it. The light doesn't change color, disappointed on that part

Great Ceiling Fans

Great price for the perfect option to add great lighting and air flow to a room that desperately needed it!

One minor gripe - otherwise I like this fan.

Product seems well-constructed and installation was typical for a ceiling fan. (this was the 7th fan I've installed) My only minor gripe was that I could not get the mounting bracket secured close enough to the ceiling to make the gap between it and the plastic trim ring to disappear.

Looks nice, works OK, but noisy

I bought this fan to replace one that had developed a persistent hum, but this one hums right out of the box. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. One other issue is that the fan does not provide the option of using a wall switch to control the light separately from the fan; you can only use the remote control.

Replacement ventilation

Apart from setting up the fan mount, the assembly of the fan is clearly shown in the instruction booklet. I actually installed 2 units, each taking less than 2 hours to complete. The fan is very quiet and well-designed for smaller rooms.

Fairly quite fan, modern appearance. This fan replaced an earlier version of same model purchased about 5 years ago, in which the light went out and then the fan also stopped working. Supposedly this newer version corrected those issues, I guess time will tell.

Simple to install and use.

Simple install, just remember that the battery for the remote is wrapped in plastic. Took the fan off the ceiling 4 times confirming power and wiring before realizing that the battery for the remote was wrapped in plastic and therefore not powering the remote.
