Disappointed, be aware.

I really like to use pine bark mulch in my landscape projects but almost every time I buy this product from lowes it is half rotted. When you get a good bag it's great but I buy 40 or more at a time and when I get to the job site and start opening, I find that half the bags have rotted mulch. Not sure why this is. Maybe it's kept in storage too long or something but seems that they should rotate the product or not buy as much if it will be sitting on the lot just rotting and then I come to bu...

Pine bark mulch

This pine bark mulch is terrible. I always buy pine bark mulch and have never gotten mulch so awful as this. It is full of wood chips, which makes the landscaping look hideous. Will never buy this again.

My choice over pine mulch

This is a great product. Unlike pine mulch which look good for a few weeks. This product, if laid to a 2" depth can last up to a year before needing to be reapplied. It is best laid on an even gradient and out of the path of landscaper maintenance guys with gas powered leaf blowers. Try to get dry bags as they are much less degraded and lighter to haul around.

Excellent Buy for the money

Earlier this year I did my mulching with a name brand expensive mulch. I wanted to re-mulch again but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I decided to try Lowes bargain pine bark mulch. This is a great buy and is really nice stuff at only 1/3 the price of the expensive stuff. Any one that tries it I am sure will like it- Once again a Great Buy!

It's not Evergreen anymore & Inconsistant in color

They don't carry Evergreen anymore, it's Timberline. The nuggets version is basically small sticks while the mulch is very fine, dime size and smaller. I bought 10 bags of the mulch from the same pallet and got dark brown, light red and almost black. Same packaging, same labeling, very inconsistent in color, bad QC. It's the cheapest they sell so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Made for a lot more work having to mix the 3 colors together so the landscaping didn't look ridiculous.

Poor Quality Mulch

I usually buy the Hope Agri 3 cu. ft. pine bark mulch. The mulch I bought was in a different bag was of the poorest quality. Very coarse. Large pieces of wood or limbs not suitable for topping mulch and large enough to jamb up a smaller garden tiller. Although inconvenient, the larges stick and wood pieces can be easily picked out. Rocks and Ants in Pine Bark Mulch

Be careful - Lowes switched to Timberline Pine bark mulch (1 star) and do not carry Evergreen (3-4 stars). They do not list Timberline - look at timberline reviews at Home Depot and Walmart - terrible! I had to put ant killer in the bags before use and had a coffee can of river rocks in each bag

Bark Mulch

I was looking for a reasonable bark mulch product that I could use to replace all of the long pine needle mulch that had been used on my new home. It was going to take a lot of bags and I did not want bulk in my driveway. good mulch, easy to use and spread. Neighbors commented on how nice the front of the house looked. now doing the back this weekend.

This mulch lasts a very long time in the heat and rain of Florida. I like it!

Found the perfect mulch to lay around trees...

I love this mulch to put around trees, because you can rake leaves up and not rake up all your mulch up with it. And it's reasonably priced.

2-cu ft Dark Brown Pine Bark Mulch

I bought this item online and picked it up at the store. The first time was easy...The second time I had a problem getting my payment to go through and the site kept requiring that I put it another bit of information I had already recorded...I got error messages saying I would have to use another card. It went through on TWO cards and I had to call to cancel the duplicate order. The Customer Service people were helpful and straightened it out...and I was able to pick up my order.

Pine Bark Mulch - Super Buy

This is the best mulch product that Lowe's sells (or any other store as far as that goes). The cypress mulch and the various colored mulch products have a fake look to them. The pine bark mulch blends with the landscaping as a natural looking product. It is easy to work with and stays in place. Don't get this confused with the Pine Bark Nuggets. The nuggets are not as good in my opinion.

What a bargain this was

I went to Lowe's looking for a mulch that was onsale . When i saw this particular brand, i decided to purchase it instead. I like the size of the pieces,not to large or small. I'm sure it's going to do the job.

Pine Bark Mulch

It's cheap and does what I need. I like the color and the bags are not usually overly heavy for me to move.

Best Mulch

We really like the color of the dark brown, there is not a strong odor and we love that it is from Hope, AR!! :)
