What Customers Are Saying
The Harvest Organic Raised Bed Soil has received mixed reviews. Many customers found the soil to be well-suited for raised beds, with a good texture, drainage, and organic content that helped their plants thrive. However, some customers reported issues such as the soil containing excessive wood or bark material instead of actual soil, stunted plant growth, and even plant death. While the soil may work well if amended with additional ingredients, it may not be suitable as a standalone growing medium for all plants. Customers are advised to carefully inspect the soil before purchase and be prepared to supplement it as needed.

Would Not RecommendWe built some new raised beds and used a combination of this product and the name brand product. In beds that we used this product as the base and added the name brand over it the garden plants are doing well. In beds where we just used this product the plants are not doing nearly as well. The soil does not appear to be holding the water very well compared to the name brand.
Not happy with contents!
Would Not RecommendDisappointed with the make up of this raised bed soil. Rocks, large stems of plants and what appears to be mulch. Don’t think I am going to buy this brand again.
Nothing Will Grow
Would Not RecommendThis is supposed to be a raised bed mix For Growing Flowers, Vegetables, & Herbs (Taken words right from bag). I git this at Lowes, I was very disappointed when I got this home, Its mostly wood chips very little soil. If your building a large Raised Bed say 4x8x2, this might be a bottom filler, but without adding your own peat, and other soils, you will have very little luck getting anything to grow. Very low quality poor mixture,
Could be lighter!
Would RecommendGood soul for a raised bed, but could be a little lighter in density for a raised bed.

Great for Veggies
Would RecommendThis was my 3rd season supplementing our containers and beds using this soil, resulting in good harvests and increasingly better tilth year over year. The flowers are loving it as well.
