Upgrade shop
I bought this joiner a month ago as an addition to my growing wood shop. I have several hundred board feet of red oak to use for projects and needed a joiner. The first project was a butcher block indoor shuffle board court. Love the results!! I only wish Grizzly could add table extension options to make longer stock easier to plane/joint

So far, far better!
I have been dong a lot of work lately with grain finicky hardwoods and this is my first time using a helical blade. It is far superior. If I had a complaint it would be I wish there were decent table extension options. Full time bigger equipment is not an option in small shops.

Great So Far
Just out of the box and set up yesterday. Easy, peasy set up. Ran a couple pieces to test. Nice, chip out free surfaces. Quiet operation compared to my old Shopsmith.

Very nice machine
Just set it up. Easy set up and cuts real nice. Very smooth easy cuts. There feed edge of the table is a little low but it looks like I should be able to align it. It is not warped.

Very Nice Jointer
I really like this Jointer. Easy setup with detailed instructions. The cuts are smooth and precise. Compact, light, yet solid and well built. My only complaint is the wood chip exhaust is 2.5 inch diameter the same size as the dust collector of my shop vac. It is very difficult to find a adapter that works. All my other tools hook right up, I don't get it. Poor design.

So good it gave me a woody!
Set up was easy. The cutter is so smooth, the cut is super accurate.. I saw no snipe, no burn, no tearing. My boards were super tight after use, deadly accurate bench top jointer for an excellent price, wow!

Great little jointer
I have put off buying a jointer for the few times I need one. But what sold me on the G0946 was the Spiral cut of the blades. I gives a much smoother cut that my old three blade 4 inch jointer. It was a game changer.
