Would RecommendThese 4" deck screws are used to secure deadbolt plates on doors at our church and drastically increase the strength of these deadbolts. The torx heads allow the power to drive these long screws without stripping the head.

Grip-Rite PrimeGuard Plus Gold Polymer Deck Screws are about all I use for building anymore. The 3-in screws are the ones that I use most. I have no complaints.

Great screw
Would RecommendNeeded the 4" screw length in a remodel and glad I got these. Had some similar Philips head screws but driver frequently "cammed out" before in driving all the way. These star-drive screws worked like a charm.

Owner remodeling/handyman
Would RecommendThese deck screws work excellant for our type of situations, we find the sturdiness and the length help us attaching items in very old buildings with ease that we would otherwise need to go greater length to resolve!

Good Countersinking Screw
Would RecommendThis is a good countersinking screw. I have had other types that could not withstand the weather. These screws hold up against the weather better than some of the old used lumber, which I have used them in. When I remove them from old projects, I save most of them to be used again later onward. There are just times when you need a 4" length screw to do when a shorter one will not work for you.

Great for outdoor applications
Would RecommendExcellent coating, minimal defects. The star bit is included and supports torque and minor angle deviations without slipping. Does come in a variety of outdoor colors to blend in to your material. Haven't seen one rust yet.
nails goodbye
Would Recommendthey call them deck screws but I use them for everything including 1200ft of 6ft fence and a 8x14 ft. with an 8x12ft. porch on the shed. NO squeaks from loose nails.

loose quality control
Would RecommendThey're good screws for what I am working on but at nearly $10 per 1LB box there are more bent screws in a box than I care for. Each box has the star driver bit included and on my 6th or 7th box I have yet to ruin the first one. In my opinion, they could keep the bit and focus on weeding the bent screws out. Don't misunderstand me. The screws will still drive even when they're bent but it takes 2-3 times the effort and again several per box to me seems excessive. I would only recommend it if you...
