Would RecommendI used these screws on my treated wood deck. A bit is included in the package - they are not Phillips head. I did not strip one head. They went in securely. Their coating should make them last a long time.

Good Screws for any outdoor project
Would RecommendScrews are great and good quality, my only issue was out of the 4 boxes purchased only 1 contained the free bit that was needed to put the screws in. Manufacture needs to look at there packaging.

Useful for the need it served
Would Recommendthe 2 1/2 inches was perfect for the needs of attaching the flooring to the deck and the star drive was a lot easier to use. Phillips head version just seem to round off most of the time. The flooring is seated well and the bonus of providing a bit to go with it was great
