Great Tool

Great tool, works as advertised and runs super quiet. Bought this as a replacement for a previous model that I flat wore out - good product.

Perfect size

I got this for Christmas and even though the grass doesn’t grow in the winter I was able to hit some high spots I had not been able to get to recently. They both are light and very strong at the job.

Arthritic friendly

I had to switch from 2 stroke motors. The trimmer is arthritic friendly, light, quiet, and heavy duty. It gets the job done. I love using it!

Easy to start electric tools

16” Greenworks trimmer

The trimmer has plenty of power, but the thinner string limits what you can take on. I use mine for standard yard work so it is perfect for me.

Amazing power, responsive, and quiet!

Has as much power if not more than gas, plus it is more responsive and quiet! Even though this trimmer may get heavy for longer uses, the tool is pretty well balanced with a 2Ah battery so it isn't quite as awkward as some gas ones with all the weight at the back. There is a small delay from pulling the trigger to the motor spinning up to full speed, bit it is still more responsive and consistent than gas ones I've used. Overall I like the tool alot so far!

Great Buy!

Brought the 80v for the farm after reading reviews and forums online... best thing Iv ever bought no problems so far and iv had it for a little over 2 years

String Trimmer has tremendous power

Had this for two years, works everytime, no need to pull and pull a cord to start, no gas, no oil just works very well. More power than gas unit

80V trimmer

Awesome trimmer but I agree with other reviews that it could have a larger shield

As advertised

Powerful, long lasting and gets the job done. As simple as that. I'm done with gas and glad I made the switch.

Good trimmer

The tool is very easy to use, lighter than a gas trimmer, and as powerful. Unfortunately the 2Ah battery last only 25 minutes... Which makes it a nice tool but not perfect. Can’t wait for the 5Ah battery.

A real time saver

I've been using this trimmer for 3 years. I bought it primarily to save the time and hassle of using 150' of extension cord to trim my parents property. Dragging the cord around and re-routing it several times, it took just over an hour to trim everything. With this 80v Greenworks trimmer the time was reduced to about 35 minutes and I get it done with a single charge on the 2AH battery. The power is more than sufficient. Tons of power and easy to use

Battery power is the way to go! No pull string or gas to worry about. This trimmer is a beast in the yard and simple to operate.

Still going strong since July, 2017...

We decided to get rid of our gas powered lawn tools in July, 2017... We did some research for the best battery powered tools, not the cheapest... We bought the 21inch self propelled lawn mower and this 16 inch dual line trimmer.... The lawn mower is really self-propelled, better than any gas powered one that I have tried... TERRIBLE PRODUCT!

The battery & charger and level of power & work-time performed well, but the spool head did not. The line jams and breaks frequently, it is difficult-to-impossible to re-spool, and it does not accept other heads. I had to return it after 6 uses for a refund. Lowes was accommodating, as usual, in giving me a full refund.

Nice mid-range cordless

I bought this to replace my Greenworks 80V trimmer that was stolen from my yard. It's lighter but still powerful and has a pretty good line feeder. I like that it shares a battery with my Greenworks mower and it is more than adequate for my small yard.
