Slightly disappointed
Would Not RecommendI received this as a gift to upgrade our Google Hub and have the camera for video calling. Although we love the feature, this device is buggy. My children love watching YouTube videos and the device will black out the screen ramdomly although you ca bhear the video still playing. To get the screen back, you must restart the device. This wasn't a problem with the older unit. Also, the screen has a yellowish hue when being used, but is bright white when on the main screen. It's like it has its own...

Good hardware but software needs work
Would Not RecommendAfter owning and loving a google home mini for two years I decided to upgrade to a next hub max to give us more features and the ability to do video calls to family. Decent product marred by Performance Issues
Would Not RecommendLike with my Nest Hub 1st and 2nd gen, the Max has annoying performance issues that have been unresolved since launch. Scrolling through the menus drops frames like a dubstep artist dropping bass. Sound tuning is off too - the sound profile is worse than a JBL bluetooth speaker. Google should be tuning to harman curve, not whatever internal benchmark their AI came up with.

Not As Good As I Hoped
Would Not RecommendI was disappointed in my Nest Hub Max. They got the display wrong (again). This time instead of displaying red as orange, you have to make a choice between auto brightness which is too dim in the evening or set it to full brightness but then it won't turn off when it is dark. Stupid.The speaker is pretty good but could be better. Overall, I was left with a "meh" feeling. Why isn't this better?

Best display and sound out there
Would RecommendThe display is top notch, great size and color. Love the more toned down screen. Being able to play Netflix or YouTube is awesome. Sounds superb compared to 3 others I've tried. Has a rich full sound that easily fire my kitchen.Wish it was easy to pair Bluetooth headphones to it, but it's not.

Would Not RecommendEncountering difficulties setting up several things and linking, especially calendars, Duo, and Assistant. The "help" is often no help as it does not align to what I'm seeing. For the money spent, frustration setting up and as its still not functioning as advertised - I cannot recommend.
