No more shortcake coating!

I've bought these for years! The outer coating always covered the ice cream and now you bearly get any! Talk about making a great product into a cheap popsicle! Stop trying to save money and keep them covered, or change the picture on the box!

Why is there coconut in this product??

So the ice cream was good. But none of my kids could eat it bc it has coconut flakes in it.. this is strawberry shortcake ice cream not strawberry and coconut shortcake…. So why is there coconut in them?? I mean kids should be able to enjoy your products but you add a major allergy ingredient to something that honestly shouldn’t even have coconut flakes in it!!!

Missing cake toppings

The whole box I purchased came with little to no cake toppings on each bar.

Not the same

Just bought a box and they’re all pink and the vanilla is at the bottom? It’s so gross I can’t eat them. They’re not the same anymore.

Taste like chemicals

Very nasty taste like it was rotten or some kind of chemical my kids ate them and after tasting one my 4 year old offered me I threw the whole box away I am now concerned of what my kids consumed

Running low on toppings?

This box barely had any toppings on them. My girlfriend was really looking forward to these, as these are her favorite sweet treats.

Love these but disappointed

These are typically amazing. Something had to go wrong with the box I bought. I will have to wait to see if this is resolved. No white ice cream in the inside. Feels just all sherbet texture.

Where is the cake coating?!

This was my favorite frozen treat in high school. I loved getting them from the school vending machine. I was feeling nostalgic, but today's do not resemble those of 20+ years ago. Shameful, the package even touts the signature cake coating with a picture of how it is supposed to and used to look. Almost NO coating in real life.

WARNING CHOKING HAZARD

I was eating and almost choked on a piece of wood embedded into the ice cream. My 6 year old was eating one next to mez thank god it was me and not her she would have choked. Never will buy this brand again

Highly disappointed with you guys. Idk if you’ve had a change in the way the bars are made or what. I bought a box of the Strawberry Shortcake bars I’ve eaten 4 of the 6 and all 4 of them the vanilla ice cream was all at the bottom of the bar with the strawberry berry filling more then half the bar. It’s soft tart and then extremely sweet I don’t believe I’ll be buying form you again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bars are nothing like they use to be. They use to have a strawberry pink center all the way through surrounded by the vanilla/cake ice cream, and covered in delicious crumbs. Now the top half is just this disgusting artificial burnt frozen strawberry flavor, all the way through. You don’t get any vanilla/cake flavor until the last 1/3. I can’t even eat the first 2/3rds. Welp, the recipe did not appear like the one I remember. There is no taste of vanilla. Did the recipe change?

What’s this wood doing in my ice cream?

We have loved these bars for years. My husband is probably the biggest fan. But tonight he bit into the top of the bar and got a piece of wood stuck in his gums. He put the pieces aside and looked to see if it was from the stick. The stick was whole.

The icecream isn’t the old recipe. I just picked up a box today remembering the original icecream brand and missing the very tasty center and crumbs but unfortunately crumbs are scarce and the center isn’t as tart as it used to be. Very disappointed

Almost no crunchies on the ice cream

These strawberries shortcake bars used to be my favorite, but the last few times I purchased them I have gotten almost naked ice cream bars. It’s very disappointing because the crunchy topping is my favorite part of the ice cream bar..
