The water repellancy is very appparent after a few days, I assume this will also translate to salt repellancy. Applied with a roller. I don't know how one would have time to apply a second coat before the first dried. It does go down easily enough, does not change the look of the concrete and is traffic ready in a few hours.

Would RecommendEasy application. Fast Dry time and water beading within the first 12 hours was Impressive. I cannot yet comment on the 4500 I used prior to the 8500 . After the upcoming winter I will be able to tell how it holds up through the snow and ice.Jacqueline of Missouri

Easy to use
Would RecommendThis stuff was pretty easy to use. Just read and follow the label directions! I broomed it out until it was almost dry. We haven’t had rain yet on it so I don’t know how it will repel water just yet. I will update this review when I have more to go on.

Penetrated hair-line cracks
Would RecommendEasy to apply . Showed up hair-7line cracks and seemed to penetrate deeply into these cracks. Concrete surface is now waterproof.
