Would RecommendWorks great as a described but Genie is deceptive by not telling you the size of the garage door so you are forced to get the extension. Would be an excellent product if they would not hide this to trick you to have to buy this.

Extender Kit Belt Issue
Would RecommendThis product was as advertised except the extended belt kit had the same silver connector on both ends of the longer belt. One of the ends should have had a gold connector to allow threading one end into the door side of the attachment block. I was able to get around the problem by removing the gold connector from the standard belt that was shipped with the door operator. However, this was not an easy thing to do.

Would RecommendIt worked fine and is simple but compared to buy the entire opener with accessories for $200 these items as a percentage of value and cost to make should be priced under $5. Clearly a money maker for the supplier. Felt wasteful throwing away the original belt for 7' door to use this 8' door belt. Would be better if they made two opener models for 7' or 8' doors and do away with this scam.

Would Not RecommendI have not received the rail part of my order. They tried to deliver it once and I sent back with driver due to no rail parts then it was re-boxed and delivered today again incomplete. NEED TEST OF PART

This was a bit shorter (4” to 6” short) to properly get an 8ft door to fully clear. Other than that, good quality and complete extension kit.
