I just want to echo some of the reviews so far I buy this opener and get home put it all in and install it and it’s for a 7 foot door. I have an 8 foot door and in the fine print says I have to buy an extension kit now I’m stuck buying an extension kit and the door is Taken apart, and not operable. Yeah, not good. Sloppy and unfriendly service
Would Not RecommendI purchased this item first and waited for the garage door delivery from Lowes, that was delayed several times without anybody knowing why. So I cancelled the garage door. I tried to return this item but was declined by Lowes (online and store) for passing their time limit. It was actually Lowes that missed their delivery time limit multiple times! Now I am stuck with this item I can't use! Don't buy anything from LOWES!

Would Not Recommendafter buying the door opener, assembly and prep for install, I discovered it's too short. The box in tiny letters says fits 7' door. So now I'm forced to return to the store and have the pleasure of spending $75 more for an extension and come home and take the opener apart to add this part. SUCKS

The opener is so quiet what a change in 39 years of a Genie opener! The store personnel were very helpful and courteous. I must admit I came to look but ended up buying!
