Universal remote fix

Second one of thses I've ourchased. Installed easily. The instructions were easy to read. I would recommend.

Money well spent.

The product was as described and arrived in a timely manner. Instructions were simple and straightforward. The provided wire is a little too thin for my taste, so I replaced it with solid bell wire. Programming was easy and and fast. Less than 20 seconds. Worked right from the start. Transmitter range still to be determined. Only tested it from about 100’. Feet away. Works every time. I am very pleased with the Genie device and company.

Incomplete instructions.

I had to disconnect the electrical connector from the original receiver circuit board in order to get the opener to operate properly. The instructions made no mention of this.

100% would recommend

Bought to connect to glitchy genie 1/2 hp h6000a model with a receiver model acsr3. It worked perfectly! It took about an hour to install the system and setup the new garage key and connect the internal car garage door opener. I would recommend watching some YouTube videos to get a feel for the process start to finish before beginning with the install.

The Answer to My Remote Problem

I had a 10-year old Genie garage door opener whose remote worked only sporadically and never if it was more than 5' from the antennae on the unit. I installed this conversion upgrade, and it completely resolved my problem of not having a reliable opener. The only negative aspect was that I felt the instructions could have been better written so that they clearly explained each step in the hook-up process. Perfect Retro Replacement Receiver

I bought this for my old Chamberlain opener, which had the receiver blown out by the LED light bulbs I put in the garage ceiling. I didn't know LED bulbs would do that, unless you put in the more expensive bulbs. This was a quick install, without too much labor. It worked perfectly first time and every time. My wife is SO-o-o happy.
