Would RecommendMy 5 year old garage door opener had gotten so weak that I had to be within 10 ft of the door for it to open and then I would have to hit the button several times before it would work. The Universal Garage Door Opener Remote Upgrade fixed the problem. Now I can be 100+ feet away from the garage and my car and hand held remotes remotes will open and close the overhead door. Well worth the money.

Worked great!
I bought this to work on a 70s era door opener. I didn’t have a remote for the old one. I installed the new controller and had it working in 5 minutes. I wish it would have come with 2 remotes.

Universal garage door opener remote
We have a very old garage door opener but it works fine so why get a new one. The remote box got smashed so we ordered the universal remote. It works perfect Connect 3 wires and viola.

Would RecommendThis worked on my old screw drive system with the manual code dip switches. I was able to program my Honda and my wife's Chrysler in 2 steps each. First pairing it with the remote for the frequency, then with the receiver box to grab the rolling code. 30 minutes total time and a zip tie or two.

Got It, But Didn’t Need It
Would RecommendGreat service from Genie. Fortunately i discovered that one of the connectors on the remote board had worked loose and didn’t need to install the new remote. I plan to keep it for a possible future failure.
