Upgraded to intellicode
Would RecommendThis was used to replace the original radio system on a Genie 401 opener, the original radio still worked but i needed to be able to use a wireless keypad so i swapped to this newer uni. The kit came with wire, transformer and everything you may need for installing, however all i needed was the receiver, & remote fob, if your opener supplies the 24 volts a.c.you can hook up the new one to use that power & forget about the included plug in transformer, all i had to do was swap the receiver & prog...

Would RecommendThis part effectively and easily resuscitated an old garage door opener which was intermittently failing to respond to open/close signals. Just make sure that you have an AC receptacle nearby on the ceiling. You should. That is what the opener is plugged into.

Would RecommendI used this product to upgrade my older GENIE door opener, improving security and access. I added a wireless keypad in combination with the Conversion Kit. Instructions were clear and understandable. Securing a receptacle to plug the transformer power supply was challenging.
