It works and it gives you peace of mind. It's nice to know when you're away from home if the door is open you could close it. Also it lets you know if someone opened the door which is pretty cool. The setup directions could have been a little better but it could have been me.

Aladdin Smart Connect Retrofit
Would RecommendAladdin Smart Connect Retrofit works very well once set up properly. I had a little difficulty setting up unit and it took some time, but I eventually got it set up because of the very detailed instructions. Additionally, I did have to purchase a Wi Fi extender because I had weak coverage in my garage, which took care of the problem. I am very happy so far with the performance.

Great for an older garage door opener that doesn't have built-in connectivity. Works great, but instructions are wrong. While it took a minute to figure out what the instruction wanted me to, I did finally figure it out, only to find that they are absolutely wrong. No worries . . . there is telephone help where a live human being assists you in setting things up the right way. Highly recomended.

Would RecommendWorks Great!! We no longer have to carry a clicker in our car, which is a real safety hazard if your car is broken into. Installation was fast and honestly much easier than I had anticipated. The App guides you through the process very efficiently. You don't have to know much about internet communications to have a successful installation.
