We’ll worth the money. Even if you’ll only use it.

Very simple to use. Zeros pretty quickly but sometimes may take two or three taps. Nice protective case. I use it primarily to check diameter of coins for storage.

Not accurate, about 0.1mm discrepancy

Purchased these calipers to measure valve shims that are quite small and require precise measurement. These calipers are plastic and lightweight, which isn't inherently a negative but it just isn't accurate or well-made enough for this job. The packaging says it has an accuracy of about .02mm which would be reasonable but is not the case. I found the calipers to frequently be about .08 to .1mm short of an accurate measurement, which is not acceptable for most jobs that would require a micromete...

Not worth $

plain junk, very disappointed that Lowe's would carry something like this

Digital Caliper

Very Efficient Effective Tool for what I need for my hobbies.

Meets Specs

It's small, plastic and light. Seemed it wouldn't be accurate but resets to spec. Has storage case, too. I like how, with small items, I don't have to find that balance like with heavier metal calipers to get the items in the jaws.

You should know it hasn't got a depth gauge

Emergency purchase. Needed one for a job and couldn't find mine. It worked fine, I got done what needed to be done. But I sure miss my old one.

Hard Pass

I bought these in a hurry due to work needs. These calipers worked for about 5 minutes. Now, I can't get them to zero consistently. They also add mm/inches to every measurement making them useless. Find a different brand.

Toy

Gives results +/-0.5mm on repeated readings & zeroing. Fair for a rough gauge, but the read out pretends to be what it is not. It should not display two decimals. Good to 1 decimal with an error margin of +/- 0.5. Problem is skid, and may be not carbon fiber.

not bad for $20 (I MODIFIED THE FOAM INSERT)

Just make sure to use a thinkness guage to verify it's accuracy as you should with any caliper. There is enough space in the case to cut out a spot to insert a thinkness guage.

worst possible piece of junk. won't stay zeroed. every time you slide it the reading changes and you have to go back and zero it and try SLOWLY not to make it skip Will return it

Kobalt 300-ft Long Tape

This tape measure has worked out great for me. I have used it to measure a wire antenna for the 80 meter amateur radio band, over 290 feet long. It is easy to spool back into the holder.

Works as intended

Has limited depth but that comes with the compact design. Seems to be accurate. Comes with a nice plastic case which isn’t shown in sales photos.
