How can anyone recommend this product when you make it impossible to get the generator activated as you never respond to phone calls or emails about getting it commissioned and tested. I have emailed and called many times and it's been installed for 2 years and still has not been activated!!! All you want to do is sell generators and don't give a hoot about follow up or activation, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR PRODUCT, DON'T CARE IF IT'S SUPPOSEDLY THE BEST GENERATOR ON THE PLANET, DOESN'T DO ME ...

Multiple issues

Ordered 9 months in advance by our builder, unit was late and had multiple issues. Multiple service personnel sent over a 6 month period..finally insisted on replacement. Took 2+ months but finally in. Hopefully works when needed. Market share is an issue. Hope service is there when i need it! The subs were great,,,this was a product issue.

Great genny

Waited 9 weeks for generator. Ordered it with a cold weather kit. Generac never installed the cold weather kit. I had to install it. Which includes cutting the brand new coolant hoses. I would say if you order something brand new and order the accessories then it should come with them installed. Also very little room for the battery! Other than that great generator!!

Works well

A good sized investment because we don't feel the power grid is going to serve us well over the next 10 years. Quality Home Services did an excellent job in design, permits, installation and training.

25 months old major part failure

Have a large home generator. Smoke pouring out just a few weeks after annual service. Pretty disappointed in a major piece failing in just 25 months of ownership. Especially since it was all checked out this month and all was supposed to be good. Is this normal?? Would like to know/how why? Not a good sign for the huge price paid.

ton of money for eh

not been impressed with this product, finally got all the parts and panels to get this machine up and running, on the very first weekly "practice run" it didn't work. there have just been a ton of little things that don't seem to be going smoothly, for a machine this expensive, you can't have that.

Does the job but not made well

The company makes products that are hard to use and this unit was very difficult in getting the monitors figured out. Makes a lot of notice

GENERAC 38KW, FABULOUS MACHINE !!!

My new GENERAC 38KW Generator is phenomenal. It's easy to use, the moment we experience a power failure the GENERAC Generator immediately starts up and we have no power interruption whatsoever. The maintenance of the generator is simple and is completed rapidly since access to all maintenance steps are easy access. I love my GENERAC and my personal TAG LINE is: GENERAC HAS MY BACK! Thanks!!!

The Electric Touch Company are the BEST!!

Loving my new Generator that was installed by the Lads from The Electric Touch Company they completed the job in a timely fashion explained everything to me and now my Unit is running great, its only been a few weeks and my unit has been used at least 4 times so far. I'm happy I made this investment.

Parts missing

Sorry to report; so far my experience has not been good! I started this journey back in Oct 23! Up until two days ago they had not been able to get it started. One delay was a a missing generac base plate where the electrical comes out. Recently they replaced the wire harness that was defective. This Tuesday I am suppose to get a brief about how my generator works.

Too soon to tell maybe

Still having issues with the generator giving error codes. Waiting on replacement part to see if it corrects the issue. Also, for a new unit there are several spots of rust already showing, not sure how this will hold up for years to come. Also, still trying to get this connected to the Wi-Fi network for easier monitoring, which has not been easy. The jury is still out on our opinion of the unit.

Recently installed

Only have had the generator for a couple weeks so it is difficult to comment on quality/durability. It did function as it should during a couple of outages lasting a couple minutes each. The Mobile Link app could use some work. I could not get it to install at all. Our installer came out and got it to work after fiddling with for over an hour using several devices for something that should be fairly straight forward. Overall I am satisfied with the generator so far.

New but working great

This is part of a new construction home. It’s big enough to power 3300 sqft of living space as well as a pool and multiple fridges. Runs quietly especially after startup. Only needed once so far when power went out and only noticed a small blink of a power outage.

Not at all satisfied!!

We bought this generator brand new and it is still not working! It ran for a few minutes when the electricians were trying to have it up and running. Unfortunately all it did was blow out most of my circuit breakers and burned up my AC motor. The electrician just left my residence saying it still will not start! We had such high hopes for this generator and it is failing miserably!
