Very nice home generator

I saved over 6k by being my own project manager. I bought this 22kw generac , hired my own electrical team to install it and contacted the propane company to set up and connect. Electrical team did the start up, city inspection passed. I am up and running! Love it!

I can't get it installed!!!

It is still sitting in the yard and the installation people have not installed it. The Lowes installation team is AWFUL! They don't seem to know what is going on and are the most unhelpful people I've ever had the displeasure of talking to or trying to work with.

Brand new 22k bad engine right out of the box

I bought this new 22k in 12-22. Now in Feb and no new engine replacement. Generac what is the problem?? If you cant supply the replacement engine then replace the whole unit. Im tired of waiting.

Get multiple quotes

The 22kW Generac had good pricing and was in stock. However, the installation through Lowes was out of line, and was about $2,000 higher than my lowest bid.

Open up this generator and look inside

We purchased this product 2 months ago and so far have received 2 different ones, both damaged! Each one was rusted, corroded inside, and dented on the outside. Awful product from Generac and Lowe's.

Generator purchase process

The generator consultant who came out to our new house, Brittany, was superb. She was on time, she listened, she learned about our house, by conducting a thorough inspection, inside and out. She was professional in her explanations to our questions and her recommendations. I felt very good about where this process was headed. It went downhill after that. A Lowe’s rep called to thank us for our business, but didn’t know one thing about it, as if she couldn’t even get us or our order in context ...

Brand new 22k with bad engine

I purchased from Lowes in Dec-22, generators was on sale. No issues with Lowes on purchase. Generator was installed in Dec-22 and the engine was bad right out of the box. Installer claims common problem on Generacs in the past year.
