Company does not stand behind product

Would Not Recommend

I had two of the propany tank sensors. First one broke within two warranty and was replaced. Second one broke right after expriation of warranty period. I was advised from Service Rep: "The warranty, if past 2 years, is expired, and water intrusion counts as an Act of God, and would therefore not be considered warrantable. This means that you may possibly want to consider buying a new module. " Great ! :-)

We had a Generac 14KW whole house generator installed in September 2023 and have had nothing but problems with connectivity to the Mobile Link system. The longest that the Wi-Fi connection has been able enable to the generator has been less than 50% of the time we’ve had the generator being the end of December 2023 at this time. LTE stopped working 2 months out of warranty

On 7/28/22 my vendor replaced the CDMA communicator with an LTE unit. On 9/29/23 my Generac stopped communicating with Mobile Link. On the advice of a ML rep, I cycled power to the LTE unit, but to no avail. I noticed that the antenna appeared to be broken, so I thought I would first try replacing the antenna. I called ML today (Ref# 9152541) about an antenna and was referred to this page which only offers a new LTE unit

We are so happy & thankful we have this generator for the next time we lose power. Hopefully nothing bad happens where we HAVE to use it but if we do need power now we have it. We had 2 BAD storms within 2 month & were without power for several days each time as were many others. Praying there are no more storms but we are prepared now for it.

I have know cell service at property, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling only .Currently this is a cell based monitor will not connect to WIFI. Mobiles link is a be ry poorly designed app. Even with a strong wi-fi signal,50-60%, you will get a ‘no single’ message every 1-2 days after reconnection. Very annoyed app. Wast money to install it. Waste time and effort to use the mobile link. I regret to install Generac, instead of other brand generators

Needs updates for WiFi

My current internet provider switched to a 5ghz router, WiFi for generac guardian is only a 2.4ghz. Some people don’t have almost 400 dollars to spend on a 4G LTE accessory, and 70 dollars a yr. Generator needs update to meet current and modern technology of 5ghz.

Have had my 24 for about 8 months now. Haven’t had an outage yet. Battery is dead on the tank monitor, I don’t think the monitor was ever set up correctly. But in general I am happy with the installation. Professional job.

Wi-Fi Connectivity Constantly Fails

Would Not Recommend

The Wi-Fi module is horrible. It constantly disconnects from Wi-Fi after a few hours despite being within 10 feet of the Wi-Fi access point. Constantly have to go through the Wi-Fi configuration process to reconnect. Monitoring service is virtually worthless since the Wi-Fi module drops connect.

Best protection we ever purchase for our home

Would Recommend

Went through 98 ice storm, no fun. Had older manuel hook up generator since then , but had to be home to hook up. Since getting generac in September 2022 lost power for 56 hours , this machine worked beautifully , nothing to hook up manually, even if we were out i know sump pumps would function as well as fridge , freezer. Etc. Just a great peace of mind . Love it. Pat & Madeleine St Pierre
