Would RecommendEasy to set up and use, and no worries about gas going bad. Their are only two things I think it needs. 1. Larger sizes in the propane fuel series. 2. I wish it had an hour meter and a gauge for its load output.

Great value for size
Would RecommendBefore making this purchase, I borrowed this generator from a friend so I could test it out during the aftermath of Sandy. When I first got it, I thought that it would be too small for my needs, however it's just the right size to run focussed necessary needs in a residence. In my case I had a manual switch professionally installed that ran my water pump, and oil furnace, a refrigerator, a freezer and my phone/TV/Internet. The generator was more than adequate for these needs and allowed us to s...

great generator ! great price!
Would RecommendI bought this generator first for the name .my dad has had several Generac generators in his life and swears by them. I initially was leary that they were out of my price range but after a little research I realized they weren't priced much different then any other brand. With that being said I was able to power refrigerator well pump lights and tv. All of which made life mich easier for everyone. The unit is small and very easy to use. Assembly was simple and operating the unit was a breeze..cu...

Full of promise
Would RecommendI received the unit today after it had been on back order for four months. It was well packed for shipping and didn't take me much more than an hour to set it up - including getting it out of the box. The wheels and propane tank holder had to be fitted - nothing complicated as long as you have the right wrenches (metric). I added the supplied oil, hooked up the propane tank (outside of course) and followed the pull-starting instructions with no problem. It ran well and was reasonably quiet. You ...

Trouble with Starter Cords
Would Not RecommendBe careful of how new the model is..THe one I bought has the pull cord going thru a loop and this is causing the cord to FRAY.I have installed my second cord and this too is going bad. Hope the company is decent enough to recognize a design defect ( some new ones dont have this) and come up with a FREE modification...Also next one I buy will have ELECTRIC start...big drawback in very cold weather.

Quick set up, LP is easy to handle and very quiet running.
Would RecommendUnique use of LP is really preferable to gasoline: safe to handle, easy to store, and available everywhere through exchange programs. The engine also runs very quietly for its size. Only wish there was an even bigger wattage version, although certainly adequate for basic household services.

Simple to set-up and use
Would RecommendWith the second snow storm bearing down I decided to have a little insurance when the power goes out. 14 inches of snow last time and expected 12 inches of snow with blizzard conditions this time I expect we will lose power this time. With this unit we will stay warm by keeping the furnace on. No freezing pipes and darkness this time. During the summer I can keep the sump pump powered up too. Small town, we loss power almost every-time a severe weather event occurs. Now, NO PROBLEM!!

Need a Better Quick Set-Up Guide
Would RecommendSo...its a great product...lets look at what is wrong...nothing big....here is it. Quick Set-Up Guide...Diagram #4-Wrong! The Bolts that hold the Orange plastic guide diagram is wrong. The Bolts are fastened the opposite way. They go through the Orange Metal bar, then self tap into the Orange Plastic guide (which holds the LP tank in place). In addition, the Orange Plastic is not 100% designed to correctlly fit into the bolt, you have to 'trim' a small section of the orange plastic at the bottom...

Great Machine!
Would RecommendAfter watching people stand on line for gasoline for their generators I decided to look for other options. This machine is great, quiet, efficient, and provides back up power without the need to stand on line. Propane is easier to get and provides a cleaner source of energy in a pinch.

Easy to use & Great value
Would RecommendPaid for itself with first use. Must be sure to follow starting instructions exactly ( label on generator) or you will have trouble starting ! Plan on having a few back-up propane tanks which are easier to handle and safer than gasoline.

propane, easy to move, rugged
Would RecommendNo gasoline to store or spill. Outlets have snug fitting covers. Easy to move around on two wheels. This is important to be able to move generator away from porch where it is stored. Rugged steel tube frame. Easily powered house electronics, fridge, heat. Has 240 outlet to drive well pump if needed.

Worth every penny
Would RecommendBought this 2 days before Nemo storm,I ran it for 12.5 hours on a single 30 Lb. bottle and it still fells half full. I ran our refrigerator, several lights and powered our pellet stove and our George Foreman grille no problem. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to start,It takes about 6/10 pulls to get it going. I will have it wired into my house service pane.

This product is easy to set up and has enough power
Would RecommendDuring Super Storm Sandy we lost power and needed a generator to power our house (lights, refrig, furnace, well, etc). Went looking for a generator and they were real hard to find. Went into our local big box store and they had one leftb on a pallet from a shipment they just got in. I did'nt know if 3250w would give me all the power I needed for the whole house but I purchased it anyway so at least we could get the lights and furnace running. Got it home unpacked it and set up. I started it up and p...

Very good!
Would RecommendQuiet, large fuel capacity, not too heavy, comes with wheel & moving handle, good instructions for service. Everything came with it, including oil. Easy to start. Powerful, ran sump pump, most important. Has 2 regular outlets & one biger one. Very happy with it. Keep battery charged in my GASSER.

Sadly disappointed!!!!
Would Not RecommendIt is our intention to build our new place completely off grid. We wanted to use a cleaner choice for a generator while we build and to recharge our solar battery bank as needed. We absolutely hated the prospect of a gasoline fueled generator. How thrilled we were to find propane generators coming on the market. Unfortunately we have had NO luck with these first generation machines. We initially bought a Sportsman which was a mere $200 for storm emergencies while living in FL. It lasted a month ...
GP Series 3250 Watt
Would RecommendThis unit runs much better than an older GENERAC product that I own & still have lots of trouble with. This unit: Bolts for mounting the front foot rest were full of paint & very hard to start. Other than that, assembly was fine. After adding the enclosed oil & your own gas there were no problems & unit started & ran fine. Much less vibration than the previous older unit, & does not "walk around". Worked great for our last 2 day power outage.
