enough power

I have had this generator for about 10 years . About once a year I pull it out of my garage & start it up . A few years ago I lost power all day . The generator ran great . This winter it did not start . I replaced the fuel line . Then it started . The heat here in Southern California made the fuel line brittle . I found new fuel line in my tool box . Overall the generator runs great . I'm not happy because it was made in China . I would have rather buy a American product .

Terrific generator

I run my sugar shack (maple syrup ) completely on this generator, lights,transfer pumps and all outlets , at the same time I use the 220 outlet to run my wells submersible pump. It runs 6 to 8 hours a day for two months. I am on my fifth year. I hope to replace to someday with the same model. It will only burn two to three gallons of gas in that time I hope they continue this model.

This product is cheaply made

The recoil starter broke three times in one year. It uses way much more gas than it is stated in the manual. It is way too loud. As soon as i find a sucker to buy it from me, I will buy Honda. I know that i would spend more money, but at least i won't have to worry if it would start.

GP 3250 Generac Generator

We just purchased our GP 3250 generator after a power outage last week in July of 2019, and I had to borrow a generator to save my freezer, refrigerator and sump pump. It was very easy to assemble, everything I needed to make it operate was in the box. Very nice, sturdy looking unit. Output voltage was measured correctly. Gonna test run it today on a few appliances. Seems like a very nice unit for the money we paid.

Great little unit!

Met my needs during a spring ice storm power outage. Powered refrigerator, freezer, some lights and tv. Also moved it to power our well pump with the 240 feed - great to take a shower!

Cannot run a skillsaw

Bought gp3250 to do some exterior work or where there's no power, works great with mixing drill anf grinder but try to run a skilsaw, Cannot run it.got and adaptor for the 240 oulet and still cannot do it. But good for charging tour phone and DeWalt Batteries.

14 Amp breaker ...horrible design

Generac sells this product advertising it as 20 Amp then brilliantly installs a 14Amp breaker so that you can't use it for 20Amps. I bought this to run AN air compressor on a job site. In the workshop it is on a shared 20Amp circuit and runs great. On this generator as the only device it keeps throwing the breaker. Maybe you should rename your company to ACME! Don't tell me I should have bought a larger generator. Your advertising is misleading. You should not be advertising this unit ad ...

Great Features at a Great Price

My GP 3250 had many features and was reasonably priced. It works well and delivers as rated. I have used it to help in a disaster relief to keep food from spoiling where people were not going to have power restored for two weeks and it worked very well. I have also used it camping where there were no hookups and it performed well in that situation also.

Dependable when needed the most

The 3250 ran without flaw for 8 straight days after a hurricane in Albany, GA caused power loss. Much appreciated!

Very rugged and reliable

I've had this genny for 8 years now and it's been magic. I live at 7000 feet in the mountains above Lake Tahoe and this thing has saved us on numerous occasions. When we lose power (Which is quite often) I need the generator to run the furnace blower...Otherwise we'd have to evacuate in the winter months. Last year it ran 8 straight days without a hiccup. Certainly enough to run all computers, TV, internet and a number of lights, although we're lucky to have a gas range. I'd buy another...

Not impressed

Bought the gp3250 used it for roughly 10 hours and it died ,it dropped a valve and recked the head of the motor and the best thing is I thought I was upgrading when I replace my champion generator guess not

THE RECOIL STARTED ASSY. IS BROKEN & WE CAN'T FIND A NAME BRAND ON THE ENGINE. SO WE CAN'T BUY A REPLACEMENT PART

Great package ruined by a 14A breaker

I bought this GP 3250 to power some appliances (fridge, freezer) during storm outage. The package is great, the generator starts every time but the main problem is that I can't power a 1500W portable heater, even when this is the only appliances plugged in. The "culprit", the 14A breaker that keep tripping... I wasted 600 Can $ for nothing that's not what I would call a great customer experience.

Very Satisified

directions for assembly were very easy to follow. Once assembled it started on the 2nd pull. The only negative I have is the small wheels. It is difficult to maneuver even going up and down small grades with the water hose and sprayer hose at the bottom so close to the ground. I purchased this portable generator solely because of my purchase of the above power washer.

fantastic

bught one brand new the other day just in case the power does go out,,,,, it was pack fantastic in the box,,,, was very easy to assemble with very easy to understand instructions,,,, filled it with oil and gas,,, turned fuel on ,,, choked it and 2 pulls it fired right up,,,, love the smell of a new engine running,,,, ran like a champ with absolutley no surge of any kind,,,, i plugged in a small ceramic heater to test the generator and worked PERFECT,,,,, was WELL worth the money,,, i would recom...

Like the features of the GP3300

I purchased a generac GP3300 about a month back for remote power to help set up a mobile home. Have operated the generator quite a bit during the last month and have had no problems to date. It will not support some of my power tools, most specifically a dewalt 12 inch cutoff saw. Requires too much amperage on basic start but it will support most of my smaller power tools. We needed a generator fast

We were caught in the recently flooding in WI and our electric service was out and did not have a restoration time from the utility company. We went to the store, purchased the generator and got it set up and running with no problems. Works great.

Great for emergency uses.

I bought this after a storm knocked out power for a few days. It was easy to set up and start using. I used it to power chest freezers and refrigerators along with a few phone chargers. It keep things going well. It was loud but what do you expect from a gas engine. I also used it in the yard to power my electric chainsaw to clean up downed trees and it was more convenient than stringing out 300 feet of electrical cords. I would recommend it as a good choice if you want something that is better ...

Perfect size and easy to operate

One of many who recently lost power in WI. This is perfect size for our country home and worked like a charm. My husband had us power within minutes of hooking up. My only complaint is the noise but its performance was sufficient.

Love this machine.

I use this in the north woods of Michigan. Storms knock over trees, power goes out a lot. Generac starts first or second pull every time. Never failed in the years I’ve owned it. A 50 foot 240v extension cord connects it to my service disconnect. That switch powers a refrigerator, lights, TV and a handful of wall outlets. An inexpensive adapter was needed to match the 3250 to the extension cord plug. The 3250 is not intended to be whole house, of course. But it makes an outage more comfortable....
