Product performs very well

Purchased this unit for Hurricane season and used it for the last major hurricane to pass through which caused power to fail and be out for 6 days. The unit ran with no issues and had better fuel economy than predicted. Only drawback was that it could be a bit quieter. Also, the unit could use some type of mechanism to hold the 110v plugs in place while the unit is running as they tend to vibrate out causing whatever you have plugged in to lose power like a refrigerator! Not sue what that would ...

Very happy with the performance of this generator

We ran this generator at 3/4 capacity for 4 days after a recent hurricane in our area while staying in our 36’ Puma camper until our power was restored in our house and it did a great job!

A trrrific backup power source

Compact, easy start, quiet running, reliable emergency power source. Even at 3/4 load uses less than 10 gallons per day.

Nice generator.

Just the right size with the right features and at the right price. Wired it in myself with a Reliance generator transfer switch. Bought a GenTent for wet weather use. Had to use it twice already and it worked out great. I'm very happy with my GP3600.

Awesome unit. My only suggestion is to change the attachment for the wheels. The clips supplied tend to come off and of course the wheels fall off as well.

Excellent unit

Excellent workmanship. Built well. Only suggestion is to write and show in diagrams more detail for the assembly of parts and the steps in operating the unit.

Great product

We used this generator less than 50- hours. When we needed it again summer of 2020 we discovered the generator burned!!! Very DISAPPOINTED We had to use an older 10- year old Briggs and Stratton that started up right away. We are currently waiting on new generator to be ordered and delivered , due to Covid reasons it’s taken this long. We pray once a new generator is installed it will work great for us for years to come.

I looked for a while in line and decided to purchase the 3600. It will support our needs quite well.

Great Generator

This General proved to be well suited to meet my needs during this past year’s hurricane season. It was easy to start and maintain. Pushing it with that handle can be a bit tricky. However, overall it deserves a great rating.

Southeast Tornado 2020

Bought this in April after a tornado tore through the area and knocked out power for 4 days. I had never owned a generator before, so I was somewhat skeptical of quality and performance of any generator. This was easy start out of the box. I ran it for four days, and had no problems. Then I put it in storage. I get it out about every 4 months, put a little gas in it, and fire it up. Starts with 1-2 pulls. Impressive. Easy to move and easy to start and plenty of Amps and not to noisy.

Too early to comment

I have not had to use it thus far so I really can't comment other than appearance. I will say the first time starting it for a test was difficult. It did not start very easily. Wish there was a primer/purge button for start up. Also wish I bought an electric start version. I hope I don't have the same start up problems when the time comes I really need it. My shoulders and back are not what they used to be.

Great product

Ran great for the outage I had. Cranks on the first pull.

Easy to assemble

As I have not needed to use it yet , all I can say is it was easy to assemble and started up with the first pull . Love the big gas tank and the wattage will be sufficient to cover most everything needed in an outage . Will be installing an interlock kit . Will have running water but probably no hot water , washer , dryer or stove to cook on .

One of the best purchases I have ever made!

In the immediate aftermath of the 2020 Midwest Derecho, we were in desperate need of power. Purchased a Generac at Home Depot and had power on first attempt to start! In addition, we were able to run an extension cord to our neighbor to save food in their freezer.

Hurricane Luara

This generator provided my family with power during hurricane Luara for 10 days running constantly except for one oil change. Just required gas. Easy start and wife was able to handle.

Derecho 2020

Our area was hit by a Derecho in August 2020. Nearly our entire city had the power knocked out. We had to travel 60 miles away to find a generator. We found a Generac. We were without power for nearly two weeks. The unit did a great job of giving us power to run some fans and our fridge. The only concern is the oil that was initially added, needed to be changed out at 100 hours. I was a few hours above 100!
