Big upgrade from my Fenix 5X

The watch is excellent for fitness, recovery, and multisport tracking. I would only recommend it for serious multisport athletes however. Probably don't need this much watch if you're a single sport athlete. Love the HRV and sleep score stuff. The GPS connectivity is better than my older Fenix. Battery life is excellent and I'm very excited about Adventure Race mode. Definitely get the sapphire glass. it's indestructible.

Fun watch

Things I dont like about the Fenix 7s solar sapphire: 1. It didnt come with a printed instruction manual. 2. If it tracks my temperature, I havent figured that out yet. 3. It tries to make fitness fun with incessant virtual badges. Like, everyday I get a new one. 4. If I go outside and get 150 lux, my battery percent doesnt go up, doesnt stay stable, but decreases at the same rate as if I didnt take the watch out to charge. Amazing Watch

This watch can record almost any activity you can think of! Battery life is great just depends on what you are asking of the watch, but at least 7 days. The use of the touch screen is great but having the option to use the buttons is a plus! You can use this as a beginner or an expert in the field! The data and location tracking are top notch.

Great for Smaller Wrist

I have a smaller wrist so finding a nice Garmin watch was challenging. This is still bigger than the apple watch i had before but the face fits on my wrist just fine (i would go a little smaller if it was an option). This is a very nice watch. Reunited and it feels so good

I had been a long-time Garmin devotee for over 10 years before switching to an Apple Watch a year ago, even though I was eyeing the Fenix. Great features

I bought this a few weeks ago, an upgrade from Solar Instinct, and I still have a bit to learn as this new device has more features. So far, the watch is helping me optimize training, sleep, and recovery.

Love it…minus one thing!

I really love my watch and enjoy it 24/7! The only thing I would love to see change is to be able to respond to texts. Everything other feature is wonderful!

great watch in nice small form factor

Really love these watches and the battery life they provide, where I don't need to recharge every day or every other day. 2 issues that I would make it amazing. I've had the Fenix series since the 6. Went from 7 sapphire solar to 7s sapphire solar, I have 6.5 inch wrist and smaller watch seems like a better fit - 7s doesn't have the titanium band option. I'm glad they made this in a smaller size, I was originally looking at Forerunners but found them to be way too big for my wrist. So far the diameter is great and doesn't get in my way during activities. This has a lot of features, so it takes a bit to figure out the menus and settings. I had the 5S and loved it but it was bulky and started to bother my wrist. I barely notice the 7S on. Battery life and functions are better too.

I went from a Forerunner 645 Music to this Fenix 7S sapphire Solar. I record an activity (usually running, XC skiing, snowboarding, or cycling) about every day of the week. Love my Fenix 7s

I had a vivoactive 4s and I couldn’t find anything other than venu locally to decide on my upgrade. This watch has a ton of metrics and comes in a size that doesn’t look like a sundial on my wrist. Awesome watch at a price!

I came from an instinct which... eh. But the fenix! Well balanced and comfortable. Handy; actually usable features that seem more accurate. I actually don't mind the touch screen at all, it works very well.

Looks really nice

I was afraid that this would be too large for my small wrists, but I think it's a good balance of size so you get a big battery and face, but still narrower than my wrist. I love the color and shape compared to other fitness tracker and smartwatches this really looks like a watch, not a computer.

I'm loving it!

So far, so good with this watch! I was very hesitant to switch from my previous smart watch, but was convinced by the battery life of this puppy. Let me tell you, it was the right call! I Returned It

It is beautiful and feature rich for sure. I wish I could have loved it. But I have years of history with All Trails and I’m a daily Peloton user - two interfaces that are not available. Also I hike a lot and it has this nasty habit of ending your hike if you stop to smell the roses. It’s not real easy to use so figuring out how to restart the hike is a challenge.

I debated on buying this watch for a long while. I had the Garmin Music 245 for 3 years, and that watch was pretty good for running only. I have had a Garmin 745 for many years since it was the most simple to use and convince myself all the added features were not needed. Have been eying the Fenix for the last few years and treated myself to the sapphire solar 7S. Absolutely love it!!!!
