I absolutely love all the features and look of this watch. It has helped me in all my adventures and I also like the look for daily wear! Highly Recommend for anyone who is into mountain sports and for tracking everyday metrics!

Love the size, battery life, gps accuracy and stats displayed for the build-in activities. I'm 5'11" with smaller wrists and this is the ideal size for me. I don't like larger watch faces. The screen is absolutely big enough and no problem to read under any lighting condition. Overall this is the best gps watch I've used.

Watch is awesome - so much better than an Apple Watch!

Loose/clicky band attachments

Had to return the watch because the attachment pins where the bands are attached to the watch are loose and clicky, giving the watch a cheap feel. Extremely disappointed as my Fenix 5S sapphire and hubby’s Fenix 5S Plus sapphire don’t have this problem.

Great watch so far

Received my Fenix 7S Sapphire solar edition a few weeks back, has been great so far and still learning new things here and there.

Great functionality for monitoring health

I bought this several months ago after trying the Apple Watch. The Garmin has much more accurate features for health monitoring than Apple. In fact, the Garmin data helped my doctor diagnose an autoimmune issue. Like the fact too that the newer watches aren’t so ugly, but Garmin could use some help in esthetics. But that’s minor.

Excellent purchase

I purchased several weeks ago. It has features I’ve been “making do” with on my old watch. Trail running - climbing - bouldering. I still haven’t figured out all the buttons and locations to find things - I have to google constantly. It would also be nice to have a little more explanation for some features. I’ve got no idea what data it is giving me without google. Even with that being said - I do love my watch and it’s features.

More than you need in the best way possible

It's nearly impossible to give a comprehensive review of this device based purely on how much it does. I've been using it for a year trying my hardest to take advantage of the many tools it offers and have yet to find a limit. It's very customizable, the touch screen and button setup work great, and it's plenty durable. The advanced training tools are great and the integration with their other devices fills the small gaps (chest strap for more accurate heart rate).

Worth the price tag

I am an avid crossfitter and runner, this device helps me stay on track. I love all of the metrics and it is super helpful data to push me harder or pull back a bit

The Fenix 7 has health metrics and smartwatch features plus excellent battery life - the best for this case size. Garmin implements its standard user interface, which looks great given the high-resolution color touch screen. The solar option doesn't seem to do much for the battery life

Ok, but LOTS of room for improvements

Negatives: Complicated GUI; slow charging; ANT+ broadcast of HR is difficult to access, drains the battery, changes the watch interface, and must be activated EVERY time; solar version is not worth it; Garmin doesn't mention the decreased readability of the screen; Sleep tracking is way off; it doesn't even know when you go to sleep; must memorize the buttons (although they do have microscopic engraving on the bezel. Positives: good metrics, accurate time and decent battery life.

Great features

I ordered the watch and it on set-up the watch froze. I spoke with Garmin and started a quick return. This watch is replacing a Fenix 5. The new one should perform much better, once it arrives.

i'd been using the forerunner for years and finally upgraded. i love this watch. it looks great and has all the features i want.

Tough watch and easy to use

I wear this watch religiously and it has seen some real abuse, but it has held up flawlessly! The body is scraped up pretty bad from landscaping blocks, but no damage to the face whatsoever. I use multiple activities daily from working out or running, to backtracking a trail or marking downed game in the field. I am not very tech savvy, but have been able to navigate and even customize the watch pretty easily.

Amazing watch that does it all

I bought this watch for many reasons. First, I wanted something that had a more accurate GPS than my previous watch (vivoactive 3 music) as I always had issues with it towards the end. With this watch, you're able to have access to more than one satellite at once, making it more precise than what I have before. I also wanted a better battery as I don't always have access to a charger when I go on adventures. This watch does all of that and more. I would say, for the price, this watch is more for...

Good Watch

Upgraded from a 5-year-old Garmin Forerunner. The battery is an improvement. I wish the watch were "thinner" overall.
