It's a great watch...but cheap fragile hardware

Bought it as an upgrade to my fr955, but one of the buttons stopped working within 2.5 months. Pretty bad...

epix 2. I like it! Alot!

Watch says I'm old fat and lazy. I bought it so I can work on that. Lots of features I am still learning some functions. I am using the Garmin coaching to get a routine started. My only regret is not knowing that the epix 2 is being discontinued. Hopefully it will be supported for several more years.

Amazing gadget

This is my first Garmin purchase, and I bought this Garmin Epix Gen 2 two weeks ago without even seeing it in real life, and the experience with this gadget has been the best thing ever. Surprisingly the 47mm is the perfect size for my wrist. I wasn't sure how the silver will look against my beautiful melanated skin, turns out to be the best decision so far. I believe I sleep better now because of the sleep coach.

Outstanding Piece of Gear!!!

Does as advertised, has refinements that are logical but unexpected........this was and is a real win. Not cheap, but performs!

Awesome balance of features and price

I bought this watch after watching a review on the Fenix 8 where the reviewer mentioned this watch was on sale for a great price if the Fenix 8 is out of your price range. Setup was easy. I had problems figuring out how to download the maps, but I figured it out (don’t stop the map download in the middle of downloading). The features are awesome! The Epix really is a great watch.

Provides Great Motivation to Exercise

I enjoy walking for exercise. The Epix Gen 2 sets a daily step goal for me. This is beneficial because it provides extra motivation to walk to meet the daily goal. This watch is loaded with features I have not even tapped into yet. I have had the watch less than a month, and I already love it.

Different then an Apple watch

Coming from an Apple Watch 7 I got the Epix as I was getting more serious and training for a half marathon. I am a beginner. The Epix is great for overall health tracking, I find the training readiness, body battery, sleep analysis and obviously the run tracking / Garmin coach to be great and why I got the watch. A Fenix 7 with AMOLED

I already have a Fenix 7, and have enjoyed it for over 2 years. I also have a Venu 2 Plus that I've owned for about the same time. A bit thick and heavy but nice features

I have had several Garmin devices, most recently the Vivoactive 4 and Venu 3. I bought the Epix Gen 2 due to a great sale. The Venu 3 has several advantages: larger display, higher resolution, ECG, can answer phone calls, thinner and lighter. I love this watch, has tons of features. But it's probably more watch than I actually need

Great watch.

Comfy watch that's pretty dang accurate. Only gripes I have is it tells me to go to sleep when normal people sleep (I work nights and it kinda annoys me when it says to sleep cause I would be if I wasn't working) and sometimes the hr will vary from zone two to zone four during my workouts. But it's durable especially the wrist band. I had an og garmin instinct and I had to replace the band every 6 months cause I'd break them.

Excellent watch!

Love this watch. I had the Fenix 6 before but the Epix display and new features is 100% better. Battery life is way better. Highly recommend.

I use Connect IQ and Face It to customize watch faces. I am disappointed that I cannot download multiple customized watch faces to my Garmin. I hate to have my cell phone with me all the time and have to "install" a different customized face. I have hiked and skied in areas with no cell service and would like to have everything regarding my garmin on my watch. No need to carry a phone if it doesn't work where you are.

I genuinely love this watch wear it all the time been scuba diving with it and cycling the gym just works great

Beneficial Information

Having just had two stents put into my heart, this watch has been a tremendous help during rehab and recovery. Especially the heart beats per minute, number of steps and sleep. The oxygen would be amazing, and it does have that feature, however it does not work very well. Otherwise great watch, looks good, great apps available for it, and battery life is great.

1 year in, and going strong

I have had this watch for a year with daily use. I wear in 23 hours a day, only taking it off to shower. I did replace the band with a fabric velcro attachment band due to the buckle on the included band causing a rub on my wrist. Now it is incredibly comfortable and I forget it is on. Battery lasts about 2 weeks. The functions are easy to customize and work well for my use. Overall one of the best watches I have owned, and highly recommended,

Solid watch and love the new screen

I had a Fenix for a number of years and when the battery finally started to fade I started looking for a replacement. The Epix was a solid choice, mainly because I wanted the features but more so for the updated screen!
