So far so good!

I got this a month ago and have only had to charge it once which is great! I went from having a very simple watch to this and the transition was a lot better than expected. Love all the fitness and outdoors features. I haven’t had a chance to use the GPS or some of the more outdoor oriented features a whole lot yet but am excited to do so on some upcoming trips.

Instinct 2

I have worn the Instinct watch for the past couple of years and love it. I primarily use it to track my mountain bike rides and it has held up in all weather along with tracking the accuracy of the mileage and elevation. A few times the watch has made impact with objects on the trail and I feel like it's saved my wrist from being injured and it comes out without a scratch on it. I love the rugged design, simplicity and dependability. Highly recommended!

best garmin watch I've owned

I have a fenix 1, a fenix,3 and a fenix 5x and now a Instint 2. I like that it is smaller and lighter but at the same time it has all the features that I need.

Decent watch but not optimal

The watch is decent for the price! Bought it as a less breakable option over my Apple Watch which I've replaced thrice due to fragility... I enjoy the Garmin app but it doesn't show real time metrics like my apple does which is just minor inconvenience as you must download the data on the app. I really enjoy having 17 days between charges vs Apples 10 hours! Highly Versatile

Amazing Machine - Multi-Purpose Watch and Easy to Operate

Very sophisticated Watch

The Instinct 2 is more than just a watch: It's a measuring instrument. Smart is putting it lightly: It's a robust calculating computer that instantly provides a enormous amount of physiological information at your fingertips. I'll never be able to totally take advantage of all the information it provides me due to my fiscal limitations that accompanies my age group, but I certainly appreciate the physiological feedback the Instinct 2 provides during my fitness center workouts.

Amazing watch, water proof, shock proof and really great battery life. Had this watch for a long time now and I would say it is the best watch that I have had.

Always problem with watch syncing to phone app

I've had this watch since 2022 and it has been great for my daily training and exercise. however, since mid July 2024 I have not been able to sync my watch with the app on my phone. The app shows that I am connected and it seems to show that I am synced, but no activity data transfers form the watch to the app on the phone any more. I finally deleted and re-downloaded the connect app but still no love. I guess I'll try a new watch like an apple or one of the many other choices out there.

Its a great watch. I wish the light stayed on longer and the monochrron was More visible. The battery life is a great plus!

It's perfect!

I really got to benefit a lot in the past with an old Vivosmart HR, now my Instinct 2 has me in a new situation with greater benefits than before its awesome.

Smart Watch that Looks "Dumb"

I appreciate that this watch is functional without being colorful and smart-looking. I owned an original Instinct before buying the Instinct 2, and they're both great. Battery life is much better with the 2, and the higher resolution display with more customization options is nice. If you're more interested in a watch for the outdoors than a watch that puts your phone on your wrist, then the Instinct is a great choice.

Trouble with programming

Having trouble programming the watch. I have printed out the whole manual and downloaded the 4 aps, but still have problems.

Nice features

I bought this to replace my broken Garmin Forerunner 35. I really like the style and functions. Only gave it 4 stars because the font is too small for these old eyes

The watch is fantastic. It tracks all my metrics for a wide variety of outdoor activities. I have tracked many hikes, sup activities, swimming and more. Would highly recommend this watch. Does not show route from AllTrails, but not a dealbreaker. Watch is good for beginners and experts alike, very user friendly.

Great watch with great features

I wanted a watch that would help me track my fitness, sleep and overall health without worrying about babying it with my rugged activities. I wear this watch with everything. Good basic smart watch

Great battery life of 26-28 days. I use sunrise and sunset times for hunting. When I get a text message I can quickly just look at my wrist to see if it's from someone important or something that can wait. The steps and heart rate functions are more for fun to me but entertaining on a walk with my wife.

Loved the Size

I bought about a month ago. I wanted to live it but instead hated it! I actually returned it. It was not user friendly. I ran a 10k and I didnt even figure out how to start my run. Not easy to use
