Dog tracker feature is awesome

I love the fact I can look at my watch over fumbling for my alpha 100 and/or Pro 550. Highly recommend.

Great battery life and multi sport tracking

Does all that I used my Vivoactive 4 for, but using less energy and with better swim tracking. One does give up color screen and touch screen control. Two drawbacks: (a) I wish it had local calendar storage like my Pebble watch did, years ago, and (b) I need reading glasses now, so a larger, higher definition screen would be helpful.

Outdoor Friendly for Novice Smart Watch User

I am an outdoor enthusiast and this is my first smart watch. I wanted something rugged and with features for the outdoors with less emphasis on staying in constant communication. Love this watch! First garmin watch ever always had g shock or Luminox decided to try something new and am seriously impressed with all the abilities from weather to phone connections etc. love this watch and plan on being a return customer after this!

Unsure

I wasn't sure what to think, because I'm very simple when it comes to wearing a watch. Once the item was given to me, the one thing was that it was easy to set up, which was great. I like the color, the instruments were clear. I'm very pleased with the Garmin watch.

Quick review

My instinct 2 was a Christmas gift. It takes a while to discover and prioritize all of the features. Glances can be useful after you’ve chosen what you want to look at. Also selecting relevant activities cuts down on some confusion and clutter.

everything you need

great watch everything you need and nothing you don't. if you just want a watch to track your activities and HR and some other nice to haves this is what you need and the 28 day battery life is amazing. it's a great one and done purchase.

Good features, short learning curve

The watch has done everything that was promised. I'm not sure that I understand body battery yet, but in time and with a few Google searches, I should figure it out. I tested the "breadcrumbs" option on a simple walk around my neighborhood and it worked well, I was impressed by the accuracy of the return. I hope it works as well in the wild! Super functional

I had the instinct 1 and loved it. (Avoid saunas with these) Just got the instinct 2 and it is fantastic. More features and super rugged.

Does what is should

Got this watch for Christmas after shopping mulitple online, seems like I made the right pick. Does everything I want it to, can even skip songs and change volume which I did not know it could do when I bought it. Wish the battery life actually last 24 days but I have the navigation and phone connection on so I get why It does not but, it does last about a week which is pretty good. I wear it hunting and love the heart rate monitor.

This has all the functions I need and more. But sometimes it does not pick up my pulse. (I am wearing it as snug as the instructions say.)

Great sports watch, refined software, comfortable

I have been using Instinct 2 for about two weeks now. I have used Apple Watch for 5 years and Pebble before that. I am very happy to move to a monochrome, simple no-frills interface. The watch UI has a learning curve to it. Garmin can make its booklet or online help a little better. I had to watch private Youtube videos to figure most things out. Great smartwatch

My son-in-law got me this watch because I need something to calculate the correct calories burned each day, my SPO2 and my heartbeat. What I got was so much more. And I love the fact that I can change the faces to help me stay motivated to achieve my goal step everyday.
