Great Features

I've used my Z82 for 5-6 rounds and have been very pleased. I had a Garmin watch & a Bushnell range finder with slope before; however, it's great have the features of both in one device. I want a device that gives me distances with slope & distances to hazards and to clear hazards. This device does both with excellence. Well done. Please add magnet capability in the future.

Great device

I has laser, GPS, wind and elevation. Can't get much better than that.

TP Z82

The Garmin Z82 is one the best investment that I have made related to golf equipment. The concept of combing a GPS watch and range finder in one device is cutting edge. When I play with the Z82 it makes me feel as though I have personal caddie.

Cutting strokes

I absolutely love my new Z 82. It lets me know where the hazards are, that are not visible from the Teebox. Helps to cut time off when playing knowing exact distances of sand traps, and water hazards and slope playability Only thing that I can gripe about Is that the stability should be a little better

Great features

I bought this knowing all the tech that goes into it, I play college golf so I thought it won KD be great for practice rounds and rounds where we don’t see the course. And it’s perfect in that aspect, my only problem is the camera takes a while to turn on after every use and the camera is very low quality, it gets the job done. Amazing prosecutor, just in the future make a faster better quality screen and camera.

great rangefinder

I started with the Z80 and upgraded to the Z82 for a bit more features. Z82 is fast, reliable and love the hole lay out the appears on the upper left corner of the view finder. Only drawback I have is I wish it had a magnetic device to put it on the golf cart. I use a frogger to attach it to the golf cart.

Amazing Tool

Just getting to know the Z82, but I'm truly impressed with all its features. Appears to be very accurate, and the approach views (especially for hidden greens) is tremendous.

Almost perfect

I’ve played three rounds and an still learning about all this can do. Functionality it’s outstanding. The one major flaw is the lack of a mounting magnet. For the price paid that should be standard.

Trying to figure it out!

I have used it for 3 rounds and I am still trying to understand everything that I can do with it. I have not found a YouTube video that really explains all of the great features.

GPS and number of courses is great, but...

The GPS, course inventory, and tech features are great; however, I did have difficulty spotting the flag because as I get tired my hands get a bit shaky and I have to position myself on a stable object to reduce the shake; I thought this thing had a stabilizer. For distance I revert to my Nikon Coolshot Pro II - much easier to spot the flag and clearer image.

Great Features - Flag Lock Lacking

All the features about this range finder are amazing. The yardages for all hazards and for front and back of green are great. However when scoping the flag it often locks to objects behind the flag. The Bushnell Tour V3 I have does a much better job locking on the flag, however has no additional features that the Z82 includes.

All in one

This is my most recent golf purchase and I am very pleased. All features work well. Wind speed great added bonus. Hole layout in corner is ingenious.
