I was a skeptic at first. I’m a huge Apple Watch guy for my fitness and this blew it out of the water for my overall health, sleep, and battery life. If you golf. This is also super awesome with distances and keeping track.

worth the extra money!

I live in a cold winter environment so I'm anxious to get some more time on the course with this watch. I did take it out once for 15 holes and found it to be extremely accurate. But for now the heart monitor, morning announcements, text alerts and more- keep me wearing it every day anyway. I love it.

Beautifully designed

Could not be happier with this watch. It does everything I wanted, golf, walking, cycling, heart rate, steps, sleep monitoring.

Lou's S-70

Got the watch for Christmas and compared to previous Garmin watches, measures home statistics well. Tomorrow will be the first time i use it on the golf course, a primary reason for the upgrade so it is a wait and see.

S50 fit my needs better

The S70 is a very good smart watch that includes golf functions. If you just want a golf watch, the S70 may offer too much. There are other golf watches that are pretty much just golf. So unless the plan is to use the S70 for mod than golf, it is not worth the the extra cost.

Great watch

I have had the S70 for a couple of weeks now and really like it. The battery life it great, last 2 weeks on a charge. I would recommend this watch for any golfer.

My S60 is a good watch. The S70 is great. I can’t believe he charging speed.

A must for golfers!

I’ve had this watch for a little over a year now. I used to rely heavily on my rangefinder but I use it very rarely now. It’s much more efficient to know front, middle, and back yardages to the green. It also helps your tee shots to identify any trouble on dog legs that are blind off the tee. Using the app on the phone is helpful as well.

Perfect watch

Bought a few weeks ago. Has great features. Accurate distances when golfing. The display is easy to read even when bright outside.

Beautiful screen but doesn’t track putts

The course view is beautiful. Very easy to enter score, but the previous version tracked putts and penalty strokes. I miss that feature. Golfers love stats.

Great Golf Watch

The battery life is great, and it is easy to pre load my golf course before my trips!

Still learning

Had the watch for a few weeks and so far I really like all of the features that I’ve discovered. I just need to further my knowledge of how it, and they all work.

The Best Watch Ever

I purchased the Garmin Approach S70 to replace my dead Approach S5. It was the best move ever. This S70 has everything I need in a smartwatch and reads the golf course with absolute accuracy. If you are on the fence about getting this watch, do not hesitate because you will not regret it.

Garmin approach

Bought this watch recently. So far impressed with the large face and easy to read notifications. Using watch primarily as a fitness tracker as we are still in the grip of winter. Looking forward to testing the golf features. I have used the garmin fitness app before but this watch unlocks and monitors many more metrics than my HRactive! Not sorry for finally deciding on the upgrade.

Great Tracker

I bought the Garmin S70 Approach for golf and to replace my old Fitbit. I enjoy using it. The only drawback is using Myfitnesspal to log my food intake and hydration. I wish Garmin would incorporate this into Garmin Connect rather than using another application.

Works and functions great!!

I bought it 6 months ago and it works perfectly. The touch screen is awesome.

Only played 3 rounds and learning features as I go as it is packed! It is within +- 2 yards with my rangefinder to the pin.

S70 upgrade from S62

I recently upgraded from the Garmin S62 to the S70, primarily for updated golf features. After completing 5 rounds, I am very pleased. The display is much clearer and easy to interface with on shot hazards and landing options. It also automatically updates left/center/right and fairways hit stats, where that was manual on S62. Additionally, it is less bulky and closer to the smaller size of my Forerunner 745. Plus, having a sleep score and metrics tracker, which my 745 has but S62 did not, mak...

S70

Have had mine s70 for about 45 days. Between the cold weather and my wrist surgery I finally got to take it to the range for a “spin”. I used the Tempo Trainer and settle in at the Slow Pro level. 150 shots later I finally slowed my backswing down to the correct speed= .9 sec. Wow did I start hitting the ball so much better. Ca t wait til the weather breaks!
