I like the wach. It is probably overkilled for what I need but I got it mainly for golf and tracking my fitness. However, coming from the apple watch, it is hard to be them when it comes to tracking fitness. It does disconnect a lot from my phone. Never had issues with my apple watch with that. Amazing!
I bought the watch solely for the golf features and now I never shut up about my Body Battery. My only complaint is that I would like for soccer to be one of the pre-programmed workouts that can be tracked. It has Badminton but not soccer? Anyway, watch is fantastic and I wear it all the time.

Some concerns
A few things that I'm struggling with: 1. I cannot pull up a golf course on the watch...I can on my Iphone through the Connect app., but not on the watch. 2. My Connect app does not sync with the watch. Seems like Garmin and Apple do not want to communicate. 3. When I have traveled (this past weekend to Idaho), the watch does not show the location. One of the best!!
I got the Garmin watch from my family for my birthday at the beginning of December. I have used it 4 times and am totally amazed what it can do. Distances, club selection suggestions, greens layout, and ease of use. It is so nice to look at. I am not a low handicap golfer but feel all the above are to hard to pass up. Got my approval.

Watch seems pretty good, instructions hard to find
Watch seems pretty good and appears to have lots of features. It is difficult to find comprehensive instructions to understand all the features and the basis of how the health related stats are computed. I still haven't found what the little thumbwheel on the top button is used for. Time and use will allow me to better understand the watch. For the cost of the watch I would have thought a better manual would be available. A better warranty would have been nice.

Bought this watch specifically for golf but have not used it as it is dead of winter in upper Midwest. So far I like most of the health metrics like body battery, stress, HRV etc.

Great Upgrade
I have had the S62 for the last 5 years and it was a great watch as well, so I've experienced the Garmin watch usage. The S70 really was a nice upgrade in features, screen clarity, brightness and battery life. The only time I remove my watch is when I shower or charge it, so it gets a workout year-round on and off the golf course..

Needs improvements
Basic functionalities are fine. But does a poor job detecting chips and putts. Recording is sometimes messy. Often misses a shot and requires later adjustment. Have not used the virtual caddie yet as only played three rounds.

This watch was a game changer. I compared the watch’s gps to my range finder and the yardage was spot on. It’s very user friendly and I especially appreciate the ability to check pin placement when the flag in not in my line of site. I am still learning all the features that this watch offers. So glad I purchased this watch Garmin S70 is the truth!

Great All Around Watch
Top rated golf watch but also use it for all my activities including running, walking, treadmill and pickleball. Golfed in Mexico City and the S70 automatically picked up the course layout details and yardage. I never take the watch off as it measures heart rate, sleep quality, steps and outdoor temperature

Easy to use

Upgrade S62 to S70
Good upgrade from S62. Replaced my S62 after many years and the battery's life was running out. I was disappointed that added features of the S70 require a membership / subscription even though the price of the S70 is on the high end.
