For the Price, Can't be beat

For reference, I'm using the R10 with a Spornia 8 net in a garage. Distances are OK when I raise the elevation and temperature, if I don't do this, drives are off by about -25yds verified at course and range. The app is OK, I don't use their paid service as I find that "Awesome Golf" is better. The "E6 Connect" free courses that Garmin gives you are pretty good but a pain to connect if you're using a PC. Running from an iPad or iPhone is easier but an iPad unfortunately doesn't project full scre...

Just started using this. Helping me dial in all of my clubs without having to leave the house and use the balls I use on course. Simple set up outside.

Plenty of information

I’ve had this R10 for about 2 months. It is a great buy. It gives lots of information to help with your swing and game. My only negative is when you are chipping from 15 yards or closer it does not always read. Sometimes takes multiple tries and end up hitting more than 15 yards to get it to read. Otherwise it is excellent

Definitely a great value

For the cost, this is definitely a great value. Easy to set-up, easy to use, and the data returned is accurate and very helpful. I use it every time I practice at the range and it has really helped me improve my swing.

Not what I thought

When I purchased My R 10 I looked at a lot of reviews and watched a lot of Youtubers. I knew it had some flaws, but according to all that I saw, I thought it would do a lot better. I’ve tried everything. I thought it would give me some good readings, but as it turns out can’t rely on it almost at all if you’re a better player, do not get this. Good but not great

Since I have been using the R10 I have found the things that can affect the ball like wind is really off. A 10 mile an hour wind will not knock the ball off 50 yards at times. Also when it is into it drops yardages by 30 to 60 yards. Also landing on the green even if it isn’t in the 2 circles doesn’t mean a person will 3 putt. The better handicap players rarely 3 putt and average may 3 putt 1 0r 2 times at most in a round.

This is very accurate I was impressed on how well it picked up the speed of the shot.

Helpful feedback hitting into indoor net.

I have had an indoor net for several years. Practice sessions with it only helped in knowing if I had made solid contacts with the ball. No idea how good the flight was or where the ball would end up. The R10 seemed to be a reasonably priced tool to help close this information gap and for the most part does that. When it comes to affordable golf simulators this is as good as it gets. I love being able to take it to the range and get real time feedback right away. The data is all extremely accurate and I’m able to make adjustments right away.

R10 - Great Value !

I purchased the Garmin R10 three weeks ago, and I am very pleased with it ! I added the GSpro software, and the numbers appear to be very accurate, to my on course numbers. This unit is a nice little unit for the money. Thanks Garmin !

Great Tech at a Reasonable Price

The Garmin R10 is a great piece of tech. Reads the ball well and holds a great charge. Things that keep it from 5 stars is: the mount would be better if it snapped in rather than attach by magnet. Second the single button for power, paring and wake up. I'd prefer a power switch or a separate button. It takes getting used to to power on and off.

Love it very helpful for practice

My range you hit into water with very minimal markers for distance. Simple setup and very easy to use.

Works Great!

I haven't had it long but it seems pretty accurate. I am going to get the subscription after I move in a few months and see if that makes it even better.

This a great swing monitor!

The R10 monitor can be used by 99% of the people that play golf. The other 1% are teachers who may need additional metrics. Otherwise spending more money is probably a waste. The only thing I really need from the r10 to include a way to put during a game simulation. It's easy to setup at home and the range. Actually looking forward to any R10 Version 2 updates that might be on the horizon.

It’s very accurate to my actual game. My only complaint is the graphics on the home town hero are terrible. 1980s video game quality at best.

Launch monitor

Occasionally misses a shot (1/25 or so)but great for finding trends over a couple of shots. Sufficient to really help you make adjustments if you are ok with slightly less accuracy per shot compared to multi thousand $ versions. Packable, great battery life, have used it in extremely hot and cold weather without issues.
